Brics is not launching a individual currency as of yet. I heard that a trading currency will be made and local currencies will remain at first. Much is going on Don't speculate.
Why are Central Banks buying hood and not Bitcoin? These are questions -major questions that need to be asked. Just looking for a balanced assessment. Again, great job…just needed a bit more full picture.
Lynn is fantastic. So incredibly knowledgeable. Michele you are also great- always have the great questions for your guests and occasionally, alternate takes on the facts. A fan!!
Ppl would buy Bitcoin in a heartbeat if they knew how their own monetary system work. Bitcoin has already won the conversation, its just that ppl just don't understand and thats by design.
No! The moment Bitcoin will show some sign that it will be a real currency being used by a looot of people, governments will shut it down. They will never allow it to be used within their borders. They will never allow a currency they can't control to operate in their territory. If they need to go digital, and they will in the future, they will make their own CBDC.
Great guest and I'm most of the way through this part 2. Why isn't Bitcoin working on some kind of global payment system ex U.S. Other countries have much more need for an alternate currency and easy transactions. If it is so great why does it need the US right now, prove it out globally and take it from the man. And if it is working out globally US investors will be in a panic to be involved.
I have started to read the Michael Lewis book "Boomerang -Travels in the new third world" . Looks like a promising book. The author is the one from "The Big Short".
@@gilldavidmour4199 The most boomer question ever. Ironically that is gold's fundamental flaw. It's physicality means it naturally gets centralized in storage and is easily confiscatable by an authority. If I have a 12 word private key on a piece of steel in my hand I'd say I have the bitcoin in my hand. Or I could memorize the 12 words and now it's uncofiscatable.

Both Lyn and Michelle is to concerned about the fed being "unelected". The main problem is the central planning aspect, not the absence of democratic influence.
Yup. For a lot of jobs a popularity contest isn't appropriate. Plus campign contributions, lobbying, corruption and time wasted on campaigning for re-election.
Great presentation and review, I really appreciated Lynn’s information & explanations on the various topics and factors in the money ecosystem. Michelle does a fantastic job at asking questions that have real value and links the various topics together to show the relationships between them and how they can affect other areas. Would be really great to see the combination of Lynn and Michael Saylor & Robert Breedlove, in charge of the world economic council to get everybody across the planet straighten out to a fair, equatable & consistent financial system that could then stimulate economic prosperity for everyone. Who takes great minds with great understanding to be able to create such a system. I do agree with Raoul Paul that Satoshi Nakamoto is actually a synonym for the CIA/NSA creation of a economic system to be able to keep the US government in the economic forefront. This is keenly Exhibited with BlackRock coming to the forefront of the Bitcoin experiment. BlackRock will Establish the meets and bounds of how the new economic ecosystem set up will work in the next turning.
Thank you Lyn and Michelle. Do you think Quantum Computing will be a threat to Bitcoin? Specifically, could this power be monopolized by a government or big Player like Blackrock to Centralize Bitcoin under their control?
Bitcoin cannot be centralized by a big player because the ledger is public which enables the world to front run the big player breaking any advantage they had. And because the settlement is instant a company like Blackrock would get their collective asses handed to them attempting such an action. They are smart, know they'd get front run and not ever try to control. When big player buys a massive amount of BTC the price goes skyward, draws in massive inflow, if they attempt to crash the market, diamond hands snap it up and they get less the next go round because the price floor is higher and higher and higher. Public companies aren't allowed to lose value like that.
@@meiko_kaji Bitcoin just has to update the address format to be quantam resistant. Can be done with a soft fork. There are much bigger problems if SHA-256 is breached.

Is Fed / central bank a problem or the credit / debt oriented lifestyle habits developed over dacades a problem that any move in rates breaks things? In a developing world, people are forced to live within means. Going back to that mindset is the solution not a decentralized currency.
I’m an old man who considers himself at least a little savvy when it comes to Macro Economics.… I never thought of the Fed in the way Lyn described it. 12 unelected representatives control the global economy! That should scare the crap out of you!
Great interview and Michelle makes excellent points. Only sticking point is that Bitcoin is a “Speculative” product so it cannot be a stay of value without massive fluctuation. Gold anymore is fir the wealthy is a better way to clarify. Wealthy buy Bitcoin as well but as a speculative buy. That is a huge issue that ought to have been addressed more seriously. If everyone adopts the mantra that Bitcoin is gold…it doesn’t change the fact that it’s nothing like gold. But there is application for Bitcoin-just not the same as gold. Folks need to understand the differences.
If one takes a detailed look at it over time, the ownership of gold has essentially allowed people to exit this ponzi system and protect their wealth. Gold has held up very well during this most recent contraction by the Fed.

So tired of stupid people making these comments. They are all sheep.
If Fed members were elected by the American public it would be a tragedy, like Congressional spending.
True but the problem is the elected people. They control spending which causes the printing and the bailouts that cause more printing
