Thanks! I really appreciate you showing this! We’ve been streaming live on Facebook and were so confused when it didn’t work. You did cut out the part where you show how to get the RTMP url- but I just copy and pasted it. Thanks!
From where?
Once you add the live stream app, you’ll click it, and add a custom destination. You enter in the stream key and that other code. That’s in the FB producer - you add it into zoom in the app when you’re setting up your “destination”. Please let me know if this was more helpful
I tried this but couldn't find the icon for live streaming, mine already has a box for custom streaming and when I click it I just get a description box, not all the blanks to fill in the info from Facebook. Any thoughts?

Thanks - wish they would give us a heads up when these changes happen, had to figure this out on the fly this morning when doing a stream. It's a bit weird/clunkly currently where FB doesn't always detect the stream when you are setting it up.

I loved your video thank you I had been using FB live streaming for years but hadn't for a bit and was shocked when it wasn't there. Thank God I came across your video. I followed all of the steps but when I click on the livestream app the side window pops up and then it just swirls and swirls I have logged out of zoom. Refreshed FB etc. You mentioned below deleting the app but I don't see how to do that I have right clicked on it and gone into the app itself. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Shelby, thank you so much for watching. Other than deleting and redownloading, I'm not sure what else can help. I'm not sure what type of phone you have but if you try google, it may be able to help you on somehow deleting the app.

Good question, I believe the new changes were only applied to Facebook groups. I haven't done any of these steps for steaming onto my FB business page.
This is very helpful, and I felt you were sent by the Goddess herself. However, I did everything you said to do, but it wasn't working, so I did what you said and removed the custom app so I could hopefully reset it, and so it would work. But now I can't click on the custom app button at all. It's there but not working. Do you mean delete the live-stream app? If so, how do you do that? Please help? I have a live in the morning!

so awkward arrrg! I did not have the option to adda new Livestream after I added the app to my Zoom meeting, so I cannot get this to work. Just had to do a recorded meeting and the recorded Zoom video quality is sooooooo bad. I wish there was a better option than Zoom grrrrr. Thanks for making this video tho

Love this however in Zoom at the Live Stream part, when I click on it to open it only does the spinning wheel on a grey screen. It doesn't ever open to the add channel part. Any advice?
A few people are having similar issues. I'm not sure I can help with the technical issues but I usually delete and redownload the app. It sounds silly but it may help.

The zoom "live streaming" app just fails out over and over again....
Hmm, that's strange, I'm not sure how to help with the technical part of it. I'm so sorry. Usually I just delete the app and redownload. Sounds silly but it usually works
I am having the same problem. I am on my desktop and keep trying to click the livestream button and it just swirls and swirls.
So I did this today in front of 90,000 people but the embarrassing thing is that my virtual zoom background didn’t transfer/ during the Fb live video in the group. Instead, my garage was showing. Yet, it displayed on the actual zoom call. Is this normal?
I'm so sorry that happened. I don't use the background features so I'm not sure if this is normal. It might just be a glitch.
you said you will tell us where to grab the rtmp url from but you didn't so we can't save the info on zoom

I followed these instructions thanks but I got to adding the Live app in zoom and all I get is a grey circle going around and around and when I go out and in again, the same thing happens like it is not downloading properly.
Open zoom in the app from your desktop, not the webpage

Same problem.
When I click the Start Streaming button on Zoom I receive a message :Error: Failed to connect Zoom Services. Please refresh the app and try again. Logging out of all streaming platforms and adding these channels again may solve the error". I filled in all of the necessary URL, key etc. I did it twice. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
So many people are having similar issues. I'm so sorry that I can't help with the technical issues. Usually when this happens to me, I delete and redownload the app. Maybe that can help

I have the same issue. I am using on my computer using the URL not the app. I might try the app to see if that works.
