I love the peacocks! One of my best experiences ever was on a trip to Houston/Galveston area on an art trip. We went to a friend of the hosts beach house and they took us to a little patch of undeveloped land where there were dozens or even hundreds of wild peacock who were all descended from a mating pair a former resident had kept, that got left behind after the person passed. I didn’t even know wild peacocks could exist in the United States! ❤

hey girl, just wanted to say, don't dip the Siam Bracelet in Silver Cleaner, it will ruin the enameling. At least that happened to me one time, just wanted to give you heads up, I know you said you were gonna leave it alone.

The turquoise on your buckle might be dyed howlite which has a different looking line matrix to real turquoise. It usually doesn't look real.
I also wanted to share that sometimes the crumbs of the turquoise are ground together and made into reconstituted turquoise and similarly with amber.
Howlite and magnesite have distinctive matrix, and I’m sure it’s possible but I’ve never seen either set in sterling.
Turquoise has hundreds (!!!) of different mines, all with different compositions. I’ve been collecting for decades and I’m still learning.
