I came on this channel maybe after one year Enthan but i scrolled down to show your videos your accent and your smile while teaching is amazing love your videos❤❤
This video helped me in a lot of ways. Thank you for uploading this series. This clip not only taught me new words, expressions, accent but motivated me as I always keep thinking that after giving so much attention to this language i am still not able to make progress like other people at my age are and are quite fluent and smarter than me. I always have a problem learning so many meanings of the same words and slang words too. But in the past 2 years i have improved myself a lot. I am always ahamed of myself that I am not good in English as my fellow mates are even though i studied in ICSE convent school since class 2. But the thing in myself is that I am really obsessed with this language and i cannot stop learning it almost everyday and i even decided to make my career with this language.
i was struggling in this language before but not now coz now i found this incredible channel now i can express my ideas and feelings everything in this language it just like a dream come true thanks for your guidence and i can understand the pain of those ppl who often strugglin in finding words coz i've already feel this 😔😢🤗 but now i'm so happy

I had already set that no..you should learn whatever it is like anything which is new to you, at first you will struggle though i am struggling now too but doesn't matter 😃 I will keep learning and never give up 👍
My spanish teacher constantly discourages me during the class. I am the only one she is unable to listen properly. Sometimes she asks me what am I trying to say and whether somebody else understands me. Sometimes, when she is in a good mood, she praises me as being best student of my class. However this happens quite rarely. :)
Very useful lesson, I'm now at 8:38 when you're breaking down look and Luke and sound to me not only like short and long iteration of this "oo" consonant but short and full, because it's not matter of time but also matter of "openess" of this sound, that's a good topic for consideration and pay attention to me :) and when I watch later the tongue twisters remind me of Friends episode when Joey was learning French with some audio course with lector saying "good job" after Joey's gibbering, that's fun
I had an interview the last week, 45 mins of deeps questions in English. I didn't expect that, and it was difficult because the psychologist made a lot of gestures with her face when I made a mistake of pronunciation :(
I struggled to express myself in English in every English classes during my secondary school. Our english teacher would call us to present a topic in the spontaneous way. I felt very stressful at that time.
I really love to see you videos and it gives me not only inspiration but now I started to use it my everyday life thanks. ......can you make a video with a pronunciation (specially for Ethiopians) please?
Ethan, could you give me some advice on how to discern correct meaning of words? You see, due to multiple meanings of almost every word it's hard to memorize them and sometimes even context doesn't help to guess it, so I get frustrated 🙍
Hello , would mind if you tell me what to do with song ,I mean how to learn English with song mean we should memorize them we should just learn the connecting speech, or to learn their phrases or words .... What should I do???? Thanks in advance.
Hey Ethan! Just outta curiosity which other 4 languages do you speak other than English and Catalan? People tell me that I sound native in Greek, English and I'm very close to sounding like a Chilean native. I can also communicate in Italian and in Japanese, but I'm not that fluent in these two langauges, but I can get there. And when I teach English and Greek, I tell my students to not be afraid of making any mistakes. I tell them "If you make a mistake, so what? You'll get it right the next time! Making mistakes is part of learning process! Besides, we make mistakes even in our own languages!" And when people make mistakes while learning a language, and other people, rudely, laugh at them, mock them, or whatever, I remind them that the people that they're laughing at, have native tongue! And answering your question, when I first got to New Jersey to live there, I had problems with understanding and communicating with my teachers and my classmates, but then, through time, the problem was solved. Also, having been to Italy so many times, my Italian friends wouldn't even correct me because I'm intelligible in Italian, and I understand pretty much everything that other people say. But every time I go to Italy I ask my Italian friends to correct me every time I make a mistake, I ask them things "what's the meaning of thins", "how do you say that in Italian", etc. I remember one time, when we were cruising in the car, when outta the blue, I asked them "what's the meaning of cazzo and coglione?" And they burst out laughing! And, I was like "I musta put my foot in my mouth or something." And they told me that these two words have to do with male reproductive organs, and they mean "testicle" and "penis!" That was awkyard and embarassing, but that didn't stop from continuing Italian and other languages! Another, great lesson! And check this out. One of my italian friends told me that my Italian is better than most of the people that actually it as a first language! Regarding accents, personally, I basically go native, when I learn a new language. And that includes getting the accent and pronunciation right. But without losing my Greek, New Jersey, New York accent, and the close to native Chilean accent that I got. Keep up the good work guys!
This is suneel from pakistan.I keep on watching your videos and I have been learned a lot for your videos my listening is getting improve daily. Please make a video and translate this song 'take me to church ' it is one of my favorite song but I'm not able to translate this song properly
I can communicate, but even though I can express myself, I feel like I don't do it in the best way sometimes. I only talk using comments most of the time, I hardly train speaking, I spend most of my time listening because when I see something I don't understand it's a horrible feeling
Once there was a girl who wanted to say for example, the pen is on the table is simple sentence. But she said pen and is together in the conversation. All people burst into laughing, especially boys 😂😂. It was so bad experience for making pronunciation mistake for that girl 😃
