Listen, I may be a trans man with daddy issues at age 22, but when this game came out I was 13-14 and I was the same age as Sarah and Ellie and I’m from texas and even grew up nearby Travis county and the beginning still makes me cry cause Jfc it was too close to home literally and figuratively. Like I relate to Ellie so much in this game it’s incredibly important to me
I always love when zombie movies and games do the small "before shit hits the fan" moment, my favorite i've seen so far is Project Zomboid's radio shows
Penny's shrill "ELLIE!" at 2:00:46 interrupting her ENTIRE train of thought sent me, lol This entire stream is a delight to watch. TLOU has always been my favorite game (as a relative non-gamer), and Penny is the perfect company for a long playthrough. The intermittent improve as Joel SENT ME every time. Can't wait to see more
No joke this stream started at 1:41 am, I was struggling to fall asleep and was like forget it I'm not gonna try to now. So I watch the stream for three hours, have a great time, finally decide to try and sleep What followed was the two worst hours of sleep of my life and now I have COVID. So I'm glad I could hang out before I started feeling dreadful.
That moment when Joel is taking ellie to the north tunnel and they're talking and Penny had Joel just a few steps ahead but then has him turn back to tell her the best thing about his job just fully immersed me into that scene. It felt so natural for that to have happened!!! That's why Penny is the streamer ever

The only thing I know is that it was certainly tweaked, since the first game had a limit of 8 active AI at a time, and this game can have more than 8 AI enemies act at once.

Man. If only Joel had remembered what Tess died for by the end of this game. I mean, Ellie deserved a chance at life, but with how she utterly demolished that chance in the sequel, maybe things would have been better if Joel had just let them find a cure.
I have to wait to watch this because I'm going into work. Gotta be honest though, while I love TLOU, I don't see the difference from the original. I'm sure there's more vegetation or something, but that's really not enough to justify the Skyrim treatment, in my eyes. The fact that it's now gonna be on PC is the biggest deal to me.
hopefully when part 1 comes out on the pc like they say it will, someone will make a dodge mod. i dont think it breaks the game for me but it definitely wouldve been useful
