It's extraordinary how much research Helena does into the parts she's playing. She really does a deep dive into every one of her characters. She's such an amazing professional.
Speaking of queens this is one of 4 times she's been a queen: Lady Jane Grey, Anne Boleyn, Red Queen, and the Queen Mother! I'd love to see her be Eleanor of Aquatine!
I saw this movie a few years ago (because I love Helena) and I fell in love with Anne. I read a book about her downfall recently and then watched the film again and Helena did fantastic. It was easier to understand having read the book. It's called "The Lady in the Tower" by Alison Weir and it is great. I recommend it to anyone interested in history
Gabi Knight And to anyone interested in just her fall, and how swift it was, The Fall of Anne Boleyn by Claire Ridgway is wonderful. I’ve been reading it daily as the events happened. Today is the 483rd anniversary of her death.
There was a pretty good thing in the 70's about her. I think it was. I only remember seeing Elizabeth walking in the courtyard while her mother was being executed. How sad. They say Henry had a change of personality after he had his bad jousting accident. You could see why. He must have been in so much pain that not much was done for.
Helena Bonham Carter is a superb actress . Remember the movie ' Lady Jane ' ? She was very young back then but now she has matured into a seasoned actress .. She would really fit in the role of Joan of Arc, Marie Antoinette and Eleanor of Aquitaine .
If you think about it, Anne Boleyn and her family had to last laugh for two reasons, the more obvious one being the reign of Elizabeth I. The second one, however, lies within England's current royal family. The Windsors are descended from Anne's sister, Mary, and William and Harry have this heritage from their mother's side, as well.
They suspect that Anne was Rh-negative. It is common you can have one healthy child which triggers the incompatibility, then any following pregancies are rejected by the body. It can be fixed now, but they had no clue back then. She was indeed unlucky.
Or she was pregnant three times in three years and miscarried twice because of the stress she was under. If Henry had given her longer than THREE YEARS who knows how many healthy children she would have had.
I did not know that Anne Boleyn's sister Mary had 2 children with Henry VIII. I watched the Tudors and the Other Boleyn girl and both of these show that she was his mistress but neither show that Mary had 2 children with him. Were their children boys or girls?
Honey Lambb Margaret George wrote a really good book about Henry VIII and his wives. It really makes you feel like you are there. Incase you haven’t read it. The book is thick and it scared me lol But it drew me in and I missed all the characters when I finished reading it.

She would have been perfect as Eleanor of Aquitaine
Plus princess Marget
@LucyLovettLestrange
And if you want to consider Bellatrix as being Voldemort's queen, then that brings the official number up to five.
@@edmundl.6141 Given that she speaks a very good French, she would be perfect for this role.
Very interesting insight about Anne Boleyn by Helena Bonham Carter, who interpreted the role beautifully 🌿
“Jane Seymour…WIMP”
😂

Gabi Knight I have two books: The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn and Anne Boleyn: A Kings Obsession
Yeah! Me too! I've read that book! It's awesome!

Alok Narain I think Helena likes Marie Antoinette in real life anyways! 😎
She would indeed especially Eleanor of Aquitaine. Has the looks and the personality.
beautiful
Absolutely
I could see her as a Joan of arc

Or Endometriosis

Joyeux anniversaire Héléna Bonham carter ( bellatrix Lestrange ) 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
She says "you know" a lot.

Honey Lambb firs they had a girl(Chaterine) and then son(Henry)
There's no actual proof they were Henry VIII's children, although it does seem that Catherine the girl may well have been.

She's so beautiful. If I was a man, I would have certainly asked her to marry me (unfortunately, she was already with Tim).
Please do something on the Empress Matilda , King Henry the First ' s daughter . Helena B. Carter would , I suppose , be just right for that role .
She also influenced HVIII to execute Sir Thomas More and anyone else who opposed their union.
I really felt sorry for Anne Boleyn but how much pity did she feel for Catherine of Aragon? Anne and Henry celebrated her death.
เหมือนคนที่แสดงเรื่อง เลดี้เจน 1986
It looked like Helena was pregnant during filming. She is always great, but this is one of the worst Henry efforts.
it is not debatable that Mary Boleyn had the king's baby boy.
Uh uh uh uuuummmmm. Clear up your speech.
Horribly miscast.
Worst Anne EVER
but you're the worst person 🤪💗
@@michaella014376 In my opinion she isn't my favorite Anne due to the fact that she was portrayed terribly in the series
Ever heard of suicide? I think it’s something you should try
The Anne in The Spanish Princess is far worse.
You’re deluded
