Really enjoyed this! I visited Blairstown in the summer of 2010 while I was living in Ithaca, NY, for grad school. This brought back a lot of great memories. Thank you for sharing!
You're very welcome. Yes, there is beautiful scenery (gorges, waterfalls, etc.). After I graduated, I moved back to southwestern Ohio, but the time I spent in Ithaca was wonderful. I miss it! I have been perusing your channel and am very impressed. Thank you for sharing your art.

I thought the Warren County area was so beautiful. I thought Ohio was pretty. Your town is gorgeous. I'm a small town guy at heart. I always have been. I visited there initially for the movie history, but it is on my list of places to return to for the right reasons.
yeah my buddy and I we've been fishing the Delaware Water Gap area for years we're both from New Jersey so we passed through Blairstown on the way to the river Tascam no be a million times and of course we stopped at the diner to get the unbelievable Blairstown cheeseburger which is the best if anybody knows New Jersey food believe you me it is the best! you pretty much could have chose any part of the Delaware Water Gap area to film Friday the 13th, but I'm glad they did it in that area when I'm proud being from New Jersey!
I visited Blairstown and the camp back in 2014. I have a video from it on my page. So glad you did mention the gas pump. So there is standing a house now?
+bietske Yes there is a house in the middle of the street where I assumed the gas pumps would be. However, it seems as though the gas pump scene was filmed elsewhere... Hmm...
if you ever get the chance to go fishing in that area the Delaware Water Gap it is the best trout fishing by far and don't forget to visit the Blairstown Diner!
+OldPix3l Hey there. I can't imagine you'd need more than an hour or so. All the spots are on the same street, except for the diner which is just off it (add another hour for a great breakfast or a good cup of coffee!)
I just went there today and unless you get clearance to go into the camp the main street and diner is all you'll see. I went into the camp today and I'm guessing since it's offseason for camping no one stopped me and I got all around inside
+OldPix3l I guess when you get here just try your luck and maybe like me they won't say anything to you. I have heard that in the spring and summer they will stop people from going in. maybe I just got lucky!
