Not only has comedy changed but as someone who's lived in NYC for over 30 years - Harlem is gentrified. No one can live in NYC that doesn't have a lot of money unless they're hanging on to a stabilized apartment from 30 years ago. I also happen to live on Third Street - which was funny re- Mr. Chappelle. LOL. Great reactions. I always love your channel!
@@jimb1283 “Thirst,” in recent black and then internet slang, describes a graceless need for approval, affection or attention, one so raw that it creeps people out. Really?
I mean sure, if you're that determined to be misinformed on a subject as crucial as chattel slavery then go for it. Just be honest with yourself and others why you've chosen, amidst a mountain of other literature on the subject, *this* book in particular.
@@willvr4 You haven't been misinformed, because you've barely been informed at all. The very fact that this moron found five other morons recommending Thomas Sowell for anything academic shows being "informed" was never the point to begin with. You really just want someone with a veneer of academia to reinforce your already couched beliefs on a subject you've barely skimmed the surface of.
I love Louise CK....we gotta bring him back ! ....his controversy was bullshit !.....very funny videos...ty for sharing !!.....USA needs to relax and learn to laugh at each other !!! ....its ok !!
I love old comedy... .. I'm a white girl.. Michelle Jackson... I have such a good friend now ... she's black and she loved Michael Jackson... I'm her white MJ now... lol... she's always gonna be in my life ... I love being her caucasin (Sp) MJ
We are killing comedy now. The old school "black jokes" from the 40s and 50s were TOTALLY racist, but now, we can laugh at each other in ways that point out SUBTLE differences, but aren't hateful. Comedy is based on bursting expectations, trampling on taboos and exposing hypocrisy. As much as I pity and loathe Louis C.K., he nailed a bit skewering white people.
My cheeks hurt she says after not laughing and shaking her head at 90 percent of the jokes
That black church guy was so loud it was unpleasant. If I wanted to be screamed at I would have stayed married.
just stumbled upon your channel, man your constant smiles and genuine joy in your reactions really brighten my day...keep doing you!

Based
Truth. Americans (myself included) have been really misinformed about the history of slavery in general.

Why have her react when she either doesn't understand humor or refuses to laugh at things that are clearly hilarious
😚✌
