Cleaning The Interior Of A 30 Year Old Mercedes SL500

- This time we had a dirty Mercedes SL500 in for an interior transformation! As you might have seen in the previous video, we detailed the engine and also polished the exterior. Now it's time for the interior! The nasty interior was in desperate need of a deep clean, especially the seats and mats. The entire interior gets cleaned using our favorite interior cleaner, P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner. The dirty carpets and mats get cleaned by shampoo extraction. The seats and other interior surfaces then get protected using Wowo's Leather Cream and CARPRO Perl. After we get it all cleaned up, the vehicle is ready to go to his new owner in France!

I've randomly watched detailing videos over the years and this is definitely some of the best cinematography I've seen yet. Smooth transitions, music in and out and I'm stealing one of those window cleaning brush/pad things 😂 they look great

True! I think modern Mercedes carpets are still of decent quality, but there are some other brands using extremely cheap materials nowadays

What a car! This must be equipped with everything possible from that time and only 56.000 km. WOW!!! But your job are double WOW!!! Your brushes are totally clean and you do every corner. You are such a perfectionist!
Please don't take this as any criticism. But two things that I will give as an advice is, when you do the seats. 1. It's easier when you remove the headrests and 2. Lean the back backwards on the front seats, then you will easily get into the space between the back and the seat.
But again, what a beautiful job!!! And great way you present it in this video. Thanks!

It sure will! I do prefer the look of modern interiors, but the quality of most modern interiors is nowhere near the same. The quality is outstanding!

Hallo...Hoe (temp, detergent etc...) reinigt/wast u uw microvezeldoeken ? In de VS bestaan er tal van detergenten (te koop in alle supermarkten en spotgoedkoop)
I have a similar Mercedes with the same color interior and usually when cleaning the steering wheel some of the color comes off when whipping it down. Is it because I’m rubbing to hard or what is the cause ? And what can I do to do a better job ? I also enjoying watching your videos !
Hey, what product and tool are you using? Rubbing too hard or using an 'abrasive' could indeed cause leather paint removal. If you are maintaining the interior on the regular, simply using a quality interior cleaner (such as P&S Xpress) and a microfiber towel will do the trick. Also, thanks for the support!

I do these types of interior details for around €200 - €250. It's usually a one day job. But prices may depend on where you live and the company you go to.
