the reason is the thing that makes claw legal for anyone to own and play is the fact they are skilled based.these claws remove the skill and rely on luck so they are basically slot mechanics.

I once pushed down a plush that was at the border, and the claw strimg broke :( the owner gave me a mean look and put the plush back to the machine

Eclaw is the majority of the claw machines near me - I have no luck but loads of fun playing them!
I'd love to see more of these strategy videos. The mechanics are fascinating to me, and one of the reasons I watch your videos is to try and Learn how to make better grabs.
I had a dream that I was at an arcade and I played a claw machine that was fifty dollars per play and I won on the second play and I looked at my dad and said "Twoooooooo!" I watch you guys too much.

We basically we need to calculate how much we would originally spend on the plush per try and see how much it's worth and methodically calculate out the optimal amount we would be willing to spend on it. :/ Oh gosh, Eclaw makes me feel so cheated, but FANTASTIC video!
Unfortunately, you will probably find that those calculations mean it's much better to just buy the prize on Amazon or eBay XD

I'm usually pretty good at the Claw Game, sometimes I can win a pair of plushies with just a play If I get lucky ( 2 Coins)...however,lately I can't seem to make it anymore. Even tho the plushies are in a good position, the Claw does not seem to grab, unless you spend a certain amount of money. I noticed this happens a lot with the giant Claws. Those are the same machines that used to give me prizes before...could it be that the machines have been tampered to reach an even higher Payout quote? This is not really fair!
GTdba I think the claw is set to grab loose for a certain amount of tries until it actually tightens it’s gripped than that time you actually win

I use this technique when i take my son to our nearest arcades and ALWAYS win a prize or 2. I won two large sequin plushes the other week-a unicorn and a penguin. Going for avengers soon hehe. Thanks for the great video guys x
Awesome guys :) I won from an e-claw the payout was reset as they just put "new" plush in there, so impossible to win but it flew into the prize chute of the machine next to it. The sensor didn't go off cause we were not playing that side. Video will be up soon, have had trouble with uploading content for a couple of days :(

If the E Claw lets you drop it over (or nearly over) the prize chute, then using the Swing Technique is invaluable. Position the claw over the prize shoot (or hopefully as far over the edge as possible), then jerk the joystick back and forth so the claw swings. With correct timing, you can get it to swing from the prize chute back into the play field. When it grips the prize, it'll drag it towards the prize chute. Regardless if it's on payout, it'll be better positioned to drop the prize into the chute.
So on the couple of plushes where you had it land on the edge and then fall back into the play field, it could have been that extra centimeter that would have made fall into the prize chute instead. :)

The claws are extremely sensitive to stabbing or grabbing multiple plush :( We learned that the hard way, LOL

If you live in the UK and the claw machines place 6 plush in the machines then play each machine once and move on. Southend seafront for example has well over 30 claw machines at 20p ago. So you can try 30 machines for just £6. Usually you will hit at least 1 machine that's ready to payout. There's really no other way to win them round here but I've had quite a few wins by doing this.

You guys are lucky, here in the UK they usually just put 6 - 9 plushies in a machine so you really need to lift them up and in. You don't get them to fall in.
There are definitely some arcades around here that do the same thing and it sucks! :( No good way of winning those aside from hoping for the machine to finally hit payout

3. Look at the rectangular thing beside it
4. Push it for 5 seconds until it pops out
5. Rotate it
6. Then play :>

The claws are so tight that is why you get it. In our country, the claws are so weak making it nearly impossible to get one

i usually just aim for the top.sometimes they have strings (yknow? the strings so you can hang it on someplace?). 55% of the time, i get it. if i dont aim for it maybe its like 15%

In the UK we also have a common claw machine, being the EX1 claw machine, any hacks on how to win on them?
On the EX1s it's basically the same thing, being that they also have a controlled payout rate.

forgive me for being out of the loop, but what all is wrong with eclaws? i played some last summer and i didn't have a single problem!
I have a lot of theses i play like everyday and it seems to be getting easy as you play everyday
could you do a series of these?? i mean, you explained great, but if you ever find another way to catch something, or another like, weekly tip....
Those are some nice tips, but what I noticed the guy was doing was a bit counterproductive. I think if he aimed for the head at the 54-second or 1:14 mark instead of the body, he might have pushed it closer in and saved himself a few tries. Though were you aiming for the body because of the weight of the head? Though the Sccoby one probably wouldn't suffer that problem and grabbing the part away from the chute would have knocked it in.
how to win E claws where we live
1) get very lucky and hit payout...
because on every single one they only do a single layer on the bottom spread out just enough so you can't work it towards the shoot well
K & G Claws and Games Same here! They only have about 5 plushies in each machine. Can't work them towards the chute
Haha yes, payout is pretty much the only way to win on those machines with only a small number of plushes on the field :( We're lucky that some of the machines we frequent are filled properly!
our claw machine in the philippines, the grip is super light. we cant even move the toy. its almost really wasting money. i learned tips n tricks from youtube though. i have a loott of toys now. mostly if the toy is really near the edge or with that lucky 1 token 1 win. or count the number of tries before the grip thightens. some machine the grip will get stronger until a win. some it will tighten up only once like after 30 tries or something.
Took two try's for me, just measure the claw and toy and make sure the toy isn't stuck down wig the other toys.

Yeah, some machines just have a handful of plush inside, which means you'll have to rely completely on luck to get anything :(

Dave and Buster's is probably the best place around for ticket games at least :) The small claw machines are usually set to be pretty fair too! But we recommend staying away from the giant claw machine unless you have a lot of money to blow XD
At are arcade it does not have a joy stick you can only move back and right and there is like only 7 prizes
