You doing great both passes in one day, I never did it, but you are chasing miles. Thanks for beautiful video of one of my favorite places. I will not get back over passes again due to my disability, so videos are my backpacking. Just hope do overnight trip at Carson pass next week. Thanks again bringing memories of better times.
Sky Pilots are the blue flower (Polemonium eximium). One of my favorite pics is from about 2 switchbacks before Forrester where I got a bunch of those flowers in the foreground looking out to the south over the approach. Had a great camp at Vidette Meadows after that, both times. Looks like far, far less snow than either 17 or 06 on either side of Forrester and in 06 for Glen. Descending down Glenn was super sketch for me in 06. Looks like a spectacular time.
