It depend on what his defention of super star is, and what time period we are talking about. Dennis had 5 rings and was known for being crazy on and off the court. However he was over shadowed by Michael even with his personal experience. Shaq is considered the most dominant superstar for about 5 years till like 2004. He was known for his height, missing free throws and being a baby when it comes with sharing the spotlight. Kobe was new to the game but he showed alot of promise, but he was a rookie player doing rookie plays that made him not being taken seriously in the early 2000s. My issue with shaq is that he has said multiple times that the he and the big wigs of the lakers knew kobe was going to be a star from the getgo, but he always kept kobe down and acted like two players couldn't be the best in a team. So for me Rodman was the biggest one of them all.

Everybody keep talking about the money.... Everybody in the NBA has money.
The man said literally Me aka Shaq, Kobie, Rodman who was the biggest superstar.
So all of them had money hence the word Super followed by the word Star
Dennis was a Rock and type of Roll SuperStar
Back in the day nobody partied of had the fame better than Rock and Roll Superstars that's following was bigger than sports stars.
Dennis was a Sports Star and Rock and Roll Superstar fame-wise at the same time. That man was like Tommie Lee on steroids fame-wise and the Ladies couldn't get enough.
Say what you want but it's facts.
It's not a dude today that's popping more than Dennis Rodam was at his height. No Cap

Exactly this lol. All these dudes coping in the comments. Like you said, all these guys have lots of money. We see guys like Zion with no game having to pay thousands of dollars to get pussy from busted strippers and pornstars. You still need charisma, swagger, game and sex appeal, it's magnetic!

The reason is simple: he knew what he was capable of and that's the only thing he was good at. That allowed him to be the free spirit he was. One don't need a game plan in other to go out there and grab rebounds. He knew how important his role was. Even MJ knew it!
