The Celtics association treated him horribly behind the scenes, they basically tried trading him a couple times and in the 2011-2012 season ray had ankle issues, he wasn't fitting the mold of the Celtics, him doc and Danny weren't getting along so basically business, and he was approaching the final chapter of his career and since him and the Celtics weren't going anywhere. He wanted to win a championship and joining the heat would be the best place to finish his career. I don't blame Ray Allen anyone would do the same. Ray was the hardest worker on the team they wouldn't have that championship if it weren't for Ray.
Kobe hasn't got more skill nor impact on the game.
