Try letting the elf primer set for 10-15 minutes for maximum tackyness it works even better that way!

I have really dry skin too but I love this foundation. I pair it with the elf halo glow liquid filter and it works great and gives a nice blurring effect on my skin!

I tried the IRL concealer and it looks great for about an hour and then I got super caky and crepey. Going to keep trying it with different under eye creams but currently testing the Flower Beauty Serum concealer and I definitely recommend it so far, as the opposite of the IRL. Lol. IRL makes a decent setting powder, setting spray, and matte primer!
The Glossier brow gel gives a slight white cast after you apply it, but if you use your finger and kind of push your brows up or in the direction you’d want them, it gets rid of that so maybe try that if you notice any white!

Hi Kelly! Loved your video as always.. I hear the hard candy mini eyeshadow palettes are really good. I would like to know your thoughts on them are they any good? Also I am wanting to try the Nyx blur foundation so I'm glad you did a review on it cause I was curious if it would work on my really dry textured skin, will you be buying and trying it again in your shade? What shade do you think I should get, I am usually in similar shades to you when your matching to your neck so I was curious 😀.. I am light medium skin tone with yellow undertones if that helps

in my opinion, that NYX blurring foundation looked like a perfect match. yes on your face maybe it looked more tan than you wanted, but it seemed natural because i've always been told to color match to your neck/shoulders. (if i am wrong though please don't be afraid to let me know lol)

I think with the foundation if you used a really hydrating primer and base and then a hydrating setting spray you might like it a bit better! And the color match actually matched your neck girl so your good!

Leave it to Colourpop - they really know how to do cute packaging! That eyeshadow palette is so pretty...I don't do all Pink-ish eyeshadows, but I do like Neutrals, and then at the end, take a pink-ish, berry-ish shade ever so lightly, dusting in the upper crease, to make the neutrals pop!

Thank you for video. A question about your application of foundation - do you ever have trouble with foundation on eyelids? I kind of shudder when you pat your foundation over your lids. I got a chalazion on my lid and my optician said the makeup was to blame. Hope you don't get one (the chalazion) - I had to have it cut out, not nice.

This is my first visit to your channel and I enjoyed how you keep it real. There have been plenty of times (in my new adventures of makeup) where I’ve picked the wrong shade of some product or picked the wrong finish of another product) and I was getting down on myself or wanting to scrap the whole thing. But seeing an obviously well liked influencer on YT, say “let’s keep going”, or “we can work with this” and keep moving on positively really is where I want to be. Speaking as a novice in makeup, it’s easy to get discouraged or to just want to scrap the whole thing. But seeing you keeping it real, is definitely the kind of person I want to give my time and attention to. Thanks! Looking forward to your next video and I will definitely dig into your previous videos.
I definitely couldn’t find my shade in the NYX Blur, they were all orange or yellow. The only pinky one was super fair. The usual struggle for us pinky girls!
