Love it. Nice demo. Two niggles about the Fiore : the volume pot is very close to my hand so I use a Fender style knob with a smaller footprint. The other is my long standing belief that push/push pots are far superior to push/pull. I bought it anyway & still really dig this guitar.
Agreed on both of those points! Always prefer a push push. And I play pretty sloppily so my hand always brushes the knobs on my prs 24. The Fiore is a beast of a guitar though and a fantastic deal.
Great demo, Im looking at one tomorrw in red. The fact he pulls country tunes out of the humbucker is killer, such a versatile guitar. :) oh and the lightspeed is just killer.
I’ve had a Black Iris Fiore for over 3 weeks and I am absolutely in love. Been playing Custom 22’s, Hollowbody and McCarty for many years and man this is a breath of fresh air. It is currently around my neck at the moment. Cheers! Edit: by the way have you noticed when using the middle tone control pulled, that depending if you are on position 1 or 5, or 2 and 4, that the tone control which works changes? In other words, with middle tone pulled, in position 2, the bridge tone control affects both. But in the position 4, the middle tone affects both. Something they don’t mention in the manual I discovered.
Ok second edit. I just tried it again and position 2 they’re both working but position 4 only the middle one does. Ay yi yi! I give up! Just gonna enjoy it! 😂
@@waywardsoul4918 I don’t have much experience with a SS. In fact I’ve only held one once at a GC and I just strummed a few chords than gave it back. However with that said, I’m pretty confident that no, No way. A SS will be far more strat like than a Fiore. Especially when using the bridge pickup for obvious reasons. The Fiore isn’t really like a strat to me. It’s a super Strat. I liken it more to a Charvel or even a Jackson. The bridge pickup has a lot of output. It’s not EMG level but it’s definitely not a PAF or vintage inspired sound. The guitar sounds very modern to me.
I just tried one at the store today, and I think I like the Fiore single coils over the Silver Sky’s. The neck is chunkier than a PRS CE24, but I was surprised that the fretboard is narrower than other PRS, so I think it’s like what they call a D shape neck? Definitely feels and sounds different from my Custom 24 and Strat. Those pickup combos are killer!
Very curious bc it’s an amazing sounding and playing guitar. Perhaps bc it is too plain looking? It also had the unfortunate timing of coming out during the Silver Sky. I also think no pickguard is a very polarizing look on an S style guitar. I love it but I think it turns off people looking for a vintage vibe. I think it’s more versatile than a studio mostly bc of the pickups. The d’armond style pickups are amazing but very specific in their tone. The out of phase sounds on the studio are beautiful but not what you would normally associate with those positions. Also the mahogany body and set neck make it much warmer. Again the studio is an amazing guitar. One I hope to own one day, but the Fiore can just about slide in to any musical situation.
This was a really exceptional demo. Thanks!
Glad you liked it! Clay is a killer player.
This amazing guitar really got overlooked because of the Silver Sky.
Right?! It’s a fantastic instrument and really fun to play. This and the Vela do not get the attention they deserve.

Soon as they make a Lefty Lettieri I shall purchase! Awesome info from Clay! Love me some Greer pedals also!
I gotta get one of those light speeds!
This is a great guitar. I picked one up recently and love it. It's my new go to guitar.
Crazy versatile. And feels great under the fingers.

Right on. The red fiore is amazing in person. Clay made it sound great. Cheers!

Hahaha I’ve been there! Cheers and thanks for watching!
Is the fiore sound closer to a strat than SS ?

Does it sound warmer than a stratocaster std US ? Or brighter ? Thanks 🙏 😊

Right? It’s a really great guitar! Super fun to play and underrated pickups.
I’d take that over the silver sky any day and I’m a Mayer fan
I am desperately in love with the Fiore and desperately too broke to get one.
Haha! It’s a really rad guitar that doesn’t get enough coverage. Maybe a used one will show up on reverb!
Hi!, why you think the Fiore is not that famous? and, is more versatile than the PRS studio?

bought one a couple months back , i usually leave the push pull up knobs alone 😂
It’s a great guitar but man there are a lot of options!
I never heard of this guitarist before, but I like his flow. Amazing playing and tone
I’ve known him for years. Just so fun to play with and write with. Great dude.
@@SuperdangerStudios totally! Very likeable and a great musician.

Notice you’ve been playing a silver sky lately alex
Yup! Picked one up a couple months ago and have been loving it. Gonna do a video on it soon. Bc it really is a great guitar.
Awesome neck on this thing, just doesn't look that great overall. Roast that neck and throw a fancy top on that sucker.
