Hi James, that version of the 39 Steps is from 1978, there have been three versions in total one in 1935 another in 1959 and the copy you just picked up. Nice grabs mate, take care👍😃👍
Far From the Madding Crowd is a good period romance/drama - great depiction of rural mid - Victorian England. I could never seem to get into The Prisoner; but really enjoyed Danger Man, which some people consider is the same character as in The Prisoner. That 1978 version of 39 Steps you got is my favourite adaptation - sticks closest to the novel by John Buchan on which its based - pre WW1. Fantastic climax takes place on Big Ben.👌👍
Some great Pickups, I do love those classics films, Far From The Maddening Crowd based on Thomas Hardy novel, a period piece, you can't go wrong with Julie Cristie. The punk documentary looks good, Siouxsie is pronounced Susie, they were amongst many great bands in that era. The Prisoner is an all time cult TV classic, that was a bargain. I was lucky enough to get the Network blu ray when it was released. I remember watching it on tv in the sixties. I think there have been re-runs on Channel 4, but certainly not in recent years. Enjoyed your video, you've had a good day! 👍
Some nice finds there,James. It's a shame about Network.I brought a few official soundtracks from them, including The Prisoner,Department S ,The Champions and all the original ITC show music.
