3:02 - That method is so convenient. Whenever I soldered smd components in the past I used to balance a big blob of solder on the tip of my iron and drag it across the contacts of the chip. Shorting became such a frustrating problem
Thanks for the awesome video!! I always wanted to make myself an Arduino board. You made that possible without leaving much difference between the original and DIY Arduino Nano!!
amazing first time seeing fga package be soldered at home, always wondered what was the function of solder paste, will try some time later for delicate smd components.
Thank you for the good video. But I have a question. Can I buy a pcb circuit board with design and smd like atmega328p-au and solder it without any settings?
IT's not as fun though. You spend $3 to solder the parts on yourself, and you even change the board configuration or modify/add/remove parts to improve it yourself. Buying a china copy is static. Possibilities here are endless, and as mentioned, more fun!
@@Nematics_Lab that is waste You consumed your solder paste, Then you wasted your time You could have ordered on AliExpress for less than 2 dollars I ordered Arduino nano for the price of 1.86 dollars with free shipping
@@Nematics_Lab although it's more expensive to make one of these yourself, it's good for soldering practice and understanding how the components work together. Well done!

I see this and I'm internally crying. I guess that works too🥲

Wow! You REALLY make this look easy!! Great video
Thanks
*Salute from me* for your hard work on soldering!!

Awesome video, i was looking exactly a tutorial like this one ! Thanks from France :)

I have a question. What are the parts i need to make this?
Hello for the LED Yellow,Green & Red (0603) is dicontined so what should i use a new link should be handy thanks!
I want to buy ATMEGA32U4 IC in bulk. Where to buy? Quantity-250. Please suggest something.

Bhai agar hume kuch analog and digital pins nahi chahiye aur humne nikalne Ho to kya hum woh kar sakte hai kya will it work? Plz reply in detail
there's an incomplete net, what should I do?
Thanks, but the price of the Atmega 328 chip itself is the same as an Arduino Nano in my country. 😅
thank you but cost is more then buying new from ebay hahahahahah
Hello
Please tell me components kaha se mile
Easily available hai kya
Resonator
Ftdi chip
Capacitor package
Voltage regulator
I enjoyed your video Thanks!
You could have bougth the solder stencil for a few more bucks.
how many cost one homemade arduino nano
Please make Wireless bluetooth speaker circuit

Yes u can buy it.
When u import the downloade files on easyEDA what does the folder Ass mat stand for?
what about the back of the pcb
What is the cost of making it can you tell me
From where do you get 16mhz resonator and other components
Please reply

It's cheap to buy readymade than to make yourself
Yes but you can add your own modifications like integrated wifi or an integrated temperature sensor

Really cool...this is very helpful to me.Tnak U
Glad to hear that!
I have problem on drc check with arduino pro mini from arduino eagle file
can you make it smaller?
Yes you can
Where from you buy all components,
Lamington road, Mumbai
@@Nematics_Lab thanks, but suggest me ,any website please for india
I used to buy from eBay but now it's closed.
@@Nematics_Lab hmm, ok thanks
What will happen if we will press the button in the middle of the arduino Nano, plz tell
The Arduino will reset.
whats the point if you didnt even upgade it to micro usb or usb c? you can just buy it for 220rs in usual shop
It comes down to cost at the end
Can you put me the components of this arduino nano board?
Did pcb dellivery payment has cash on dilivery option
No
What the cost of your homemade Arduino? Please share with me
About 500 INR

Why you used ftdi 232
Instead ch g 4
verry good video
Can you make a video about How to make raspberry pi
Raspberry pi is not maintained as Open Source and even if it was then it would cost way more
it costs more than a china duplication (about 2$). This costs about 5$
Because it offers FTDI if I use CH340 it will cost same

Why would you, I can buy it on eBay for £3.45 free post in 3 days I don't understand the point
it's the learning experience. plus practice soldering
Very nice but this is like what 5 to 10 $ per Arduino nano replica? You can also just buy a arduino nano replica on banggood for just $3 ;)
It's fun if you do it by yourself and get to learn SMD soldering
You get better quality and it is a fun experience!
bro whats the cost of this board
Each board cost me around $5
Nematic ! Could you make an arduino nano with a ch340 chip to get the costs down? Or try at all to make the nano as cheap as possible?

Diy Uno
Just do the same thing, but with Arduino Uno.
rather buy one, it will be same yet cheaper!
Can i get ur email , i he doubts to ask

It would be great if you could design a Arduino uno with no SMD component.
It is possible, but if you want I have a video on smd soldering check that out
@@Nematics_Lab Yep!
But the problem is I don't have a soldering station😅
BTW congratulations!!

Thank you, smd soldering can be done with soldering iron if you practice a bit
