    3:02 - That method is so convenient. Whenever I soldered smd components in the past I used to balance a big blob of solder on the tip of my iron and drag it across the contacts of the chip. Shorting became such a frustrating problem

    amazing first time seeing fga package be soldered at home, always wondered what was the function of solder paste, will try some time later for delicate smd components.

    Thanks, but the price of the Atmega 328 chip itself is the same as an Arduino Nano in my country. 😅

    It's cheap to buy readymade than to make yourself

      Yes but you can add your own modifications like integrated wifi or an integrated temperature sensor

    whats the point if you didnt even upgade it to micro usb or usb c? you can just buy it for 220rs in usual shop

      Raspberry pi is not maintained as Open Source and even if it was then it would cost way more

      IT's not as fun though. You spend $3 to solder the parts on yourself, and you even change the board configuration or modify/add/remove parts to improve it yourself. Buying a china copy is static. Possibilities here are endless, and as mentioned, more fun!

    Very nice but this is like what 5 to 10 $ per Arduino nano replica? You can also just buy a arduino nano replica on banggood for just $3 ;)

      You consumed your solder paste,
      Then you wasted your time
      You could have ordered on AliExpress for less than 2 dollars
      I ordered Arduino nano for the price of 1.86 dollars with free shipping

      Thank you, smd soldering can be done with soldering iron if you practice a bit
