It would be an additional experimental element - but potentially have the same students brainstorm (maybe stratified (by the 3 student groups you had), random sample into 2 groups - one that woukd brainstorm with you and one that would brainstorm without you) to suggest ways in which this course could be improved - knowing what they wrestled with, experienced as students to how they might modify, add, delete elements in the design - to see if any additional innovative optimization could be achieved and/or if new elements/functions would manifest. 😊
