- So they just released the NEW Ukraine in Hearts of Iron 4 Kaiserreich.
And what's better than a new update in HOI4 and Kaiserreich.
Ukraine has a really good new focus tree with this update and Tommy is here to try it out.
This might be one of the best countries in HOI4 and in Kaiserreich, so many new features it might as well be a DLC!

@@cosmicdistortion4350 Same thing for me. I learned a lot of new political ideologies that I did not know existed from playing Kaiserreich. All of them in Kaiserreich are real political ideologies, though some are now completely dead (for good reasons) but some ideals from them are still being used.

As an Ukranian watching this video, it felt so wierd and at the same time heartwarming listening to Tommy reading Shevchenko's "Zapovit" in English at the end of the video. Every Ukranian knows that poem word for word in their home language. Thanks for the fun video, Tommy. Very nice👍

Kruty was a battle in the city of Kruty, which located near Kyiv, where less than 300 ukrainian students had to fight with Bolsheviks army
*500 students.
But what difference did it make in the end? They still ultimately lost.

I did this exact run with the only change being that I stayed with Germany. Everything else was the same. It was so fun

EAW would be easier to convince people to play if it wasn't just so damn embarrassing to discuss. All that effort put into a bringing a world to life that was *literally* made for little girls by 30-something-year-old men. I've seen some bronies try to deny it, but it *_is_* a fetish. And before someone tries to call me out for not understanding the community, I used to be senior staff in a World of Tanks clan literally called Imperial Guard Ponyz, so I've had *a lot* of brony friends over the years. The kind of stuff they talk about in private...
@@DovahFett Definitly agreed on the the part that it is wierd to discuss but I'd say this is probably the thing that makes it stick out the most. All other fantasy mods of supposedly big series like Game of Thrones, Lord of the Ring or hell even Warcraft, all the teams quickly stop being active or people play it and never touch it again. EAW is great in that regard that is it 100% self aware, it works well as a parody and gives actually fun scenerios of nations having those bogged down medival or just simple mindset facing down nations of much more complex or devious ideologies than them. I hope that after the newest Bears and Bandits update more folks will try it, Polar Bear nation added in this is just very fun to play.

I think kaiserreich just messed up austria, I tried everithing and its only possible for me to go down "Status Quo" (Focus) and you cant do anything else

If you just build a fortline behind the river, Russia can never break you.
You dont need it, you have focuses to build lines and you have huge iron in Kharkov. If Poland and Germany sends as much as 5 divisions you can hold. If Austria joins as long as you are fortified, you are holding.

You'll probably not see this, but you should play Bohemia. It has a really big and good tree for no reason. One tip if you do: Do your best in the Hungarian war and take as much land as you can from the Austrians

I played Kaiserreich since before Forest Brothers or long before that idk, but the thing is this used to be my favourite mod but after 3 version update if you wanted to play Communist nation better to play Kaiserredux instead, because the difference is so tremendous, now Third Internationale is weak af in Kaiserreich sadly, back in the day you could influence the world politics so much but now not even Socialist Italy joined Third Internationale, ridiculous, very sad now
