Excellent I'm going to make one of those, put a lightweight top on it to simulate the ocean, with a little sailor in a row boat, put it onto my Model Train Layout's Navy Base & call it a Sea-Sickness Simulator.

It's neat but runs out of energy very quickly and the tempo slows with that. Maybe if, instead of the rubber band, that cell used as a weight were connected to a small motor. Then the more consistent and long lasting power delivery would result in a more consistent tempo.

I cut the tube in the middle and it doesnt oscillate side to side. Is cutting the tube at 3/4th important?
