- The ESP32 Arduino Code for ScentVR is coming along nicely. It is a HARD project, but I think we can do it. The ESP32 runs the fans to disperse smells into the room at random intervals. We need to create the smells ourselves in some cases so lab gear comes out!

As a kind In middle school (1990’s) I wrote a paper on this concept for the horrible VR we had and TV (lol) using a multi pack of sent cartridges, aerosol injectors and Co2 cartridges. I wrote if the the gas station bathroom could automatically dispense fragrance then we should smell floral notes when 18οο flowers advertised on tv.
Unfortunately IoT and the maker space wasn’t where it is today so prototyping it for class wasn’t really an option.
