Alright for people having trouble connecting it, go to device manager, look for software devices, right click on the printer, update drivers! Done ✅ you can do this while the software is running so you can align the head

You may have forgotten the WiFi portion of the setup? “How to setup Canon Pixma MG2522 Printer over Wifi and Install Ink?”. Maybe should include at the end of the video “just kidding about the WiFi part”! As far as I can tell this printer does not support Wi-Fi.
So my girlfriends, friend sold us this printer for like $40. And Im using it now but the issue is it seems like I literally have to keep the cord connected to the computer at all times... Im guessing the printer doesnt work if I disconnect the cord from the computer... :( I knew she pulled 1 over on us... smh
I've been trying to connect this damn thing for an hour. I think you're right, no wifi. My MG2500 had it, but not this one.

Thank you so much I got this printer used it wasn't new in a box, but it was the same exact model as the one you were installing thanks to you I have more information than i had before, in fact I really thought this model was too outdated for my laptop. I'm going to try the steps from your video hopefully it works, if not it's most likely this model isn't compatible with my chromebook I checked the list on the website this model wasn't listed 😏 Never the less your video was great, easy, clear, 👍

Why did they make the USB cord so short. I keep my printer under the desk on a shelf and the cord doesn't reach the USB port of my all in on desktop. Can I purchase a longer cord?

Very helpful. A client for my computer class had a chromebook with no CD reader. The written instructions did not give obvious instructions on how to get drivers without using the CD. She will be back next week and I know should be able to install this for her.

so cd thing out opf the way but im at the setup part and it have it connected to my pc and for some reason it has some connection issue and I'm not sure what to do from here, i says to do the prosses again and with the cd and what not but my comp is very modern and doesn't have a cd drive in it. so idk what's going on now and if you can help me out that would be nice

When I make a scanned copy of a4 it just cuts off after letter length can i change that to a4 length
