I tried to check out your music channel, but the link to that one isn't working. :( Have you ever done a cover of "Skating Away on the Thin Ice of a New Day" by Jethro Tull? It's one of my favorite songs. :)
@@AmitysLife I get a weird "404 not found" error from UA-cam. I'm in the USA, so I hope it isn't some weird regional thing involving worldwide music distribution rights.
I have gastroparesis, and water is very hard to drink. I'm 34 found out I have gastroparesis in 2019 they don't know why I have it. I just found you channel. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I'm on a all liquid diet. My dr just took fiber and sugar away from the already long list of items of can't have. ( Big hugs and prayers form Small town in GA USA)
My consultant says cold drinks & ice have a paralytic effect on the stomach & Bowel so I can’t have anything cold and it does make me flare congratulations on your Etsy shop! 💗💗 I have a J tube all feeds, medications & fluids go down there if I try drinking water I choke on it like most things and it doesn’t stay down you can buy the Emesis compact bags on Amazon incase you run out xx
Probably best for you to stay away from the cold water then ☺️ Aww thank you I am so excited about the Etsy store 💗💗 is a J tube the one that goes through the nose or is it into your belly? And thank you I will have to but some on Amazon ☺️
@@AmitysLife hey sweetheart it’s not a NJ tube (that’s a nasal Jejunal tube) mines a peg-J tube that goes into the stomach and all the way into my jejunum (small bowel) I use the G tube for venting & draining and the J tube for feeds, meds & fluids xxx
I tend to forget to drink extra water. Dehydration has landed me in the ER before. Monday I got my first IV saline infusion, but I've felt really sick this week - I think I have a flu, so that makes it difficult to know if the infusion helped. Sports drinks like Powerade or Gatorade helps, if I remember to drink some each day. Your bag is cool! Your modeling poses are pro, too! The sloth pants look super comfy. You forgot to show us what Australian money looks like, but it's so brightly colored that it would probably blind us or break your camera.
Oh no that's not good at all, I will say that I usually feel aweful the first 24 hours after a drip but feel so much better the the next two weeks when it comes to dehydration 💦 Haha I should of showed our currency 😂😂
I love your videos, I've been diagnosed with gastroparesis this year and its hell, I was wondering where I could get the gastroparesis cards? I am on a full liquid diet but even having liquids hurt so I was wondering if I should tell the doctor 🤔 😕
I got them from a lady in the Australian support group on Facebook who does them, I am not sure where to get them in the US but I will have a look and get back to you on that one ☺️
@@AmitysLife Those cards are sweet! Even if your source had them posted online so that people could print them at home on card stock and cut them out into individual cards, that would be super helpful.
I have problems with water too. Like drinking just a few sips of plain water will make me more nauseated, give me heart burn and painful bloating. I’m thirsty all the time though. Doctors and I are working on how to handle my dehydration. So far electrolyte drinks are not enough.
Don't forget to check out my Etsy Shop, the link is in the bio 💖

I am on a liquid diet too, it's really hard but I can't imagine going sugar free.
Sending lots of love and prayers your way from DownUnder 💖
For me room temperature water is the most easy for me
Isn't it crazy how we're all different ☺️💖

Hey Kara
Dehydration is a big thing with Gastroparesis, I have to get IV fluids twice a month to be able to stay hydrated as much as possible
