You did it again. This time you've found not a place I've never been, but a whole quest I've missed. So in a way I'm happy taht you didn't talk to the other magican, so I can do it myself. I feel I'll have to play this game again. I was planning a playthrough with using only augments and no weapons through the game. I also never find all the breach softwares either, which I belive unlock a new game mode. I feel it is time for that, the only thing I have to figure out if I want to record it.
Anyway, with the machine cult. You can stop trying to get into the place. It will come up later in the game, and I think by design you can't get into it. Als you might no get into it, because it will depend on a choice you will have to make later in the game.
29:14 Great chioce. If you can't get in, they can't get out either :D

Those guys are killing me! :)
    Guard 1: "Moving to next waypoint (which is a good 5 meters from my current location so it deserves a notification, in case I get lost on my way, or violently attacked by a perp). Confirm.";
Guard 2: "Yup, I'm confirming your lazy ass just moved 5 meters. Why are we even doing this to ourselves? What part of the guards manual covers this kind of communication while we are in the same room?"
Meanwhile none of them realize that someone invaded their airspace not once but twice in less than an hour. XD
    >3:30
Back then, games that were not accepting dual entries (KB+M and Gamepad) or badly managing them were still a lot. And today, there are some still doing that... And I agree it is annoying. I even know one that gives you PS prompts when you plug a Xbox controller.
    >5:10
Hey, it's his one true occasion to shine. After all those "confirm" something exciting is finally happening! And then he goes the wrong way... :D
    >8:22
OMG, K is possessed by Cthulhu (or the DX version of him)!
    >10:17
You didn't think it would be as simple as "just" infiltrating a bank and robbing it, right? :D
But I like K. He may be a bit of a nutcase at times but his info about Dubai was damn too accurate to be a lucky guess. Conspiracy theory done right. Who would have thought? :)
    >14:50
It does, huh? :D Actually you could have used the same trick in the subway station after grabbing the DSD to get out without being seen, and there are a couple of others I can think of in the city.
    >15:30
One of these days you'll have to explain to me your "clicking frenzy syndrome" on hacking puzzles. :D Not the first time it happens and I'm sure it won't be the last. All you had to do at that point was to capture the green node in one easy move.
The timer wasn't running and it bothered you? Need to live on the edge? :)
    >18:20
Somehow, I see you going that way and I can guess what is going to happen. Can you say "giant squirrel"? XD
    >18:54
There's no way to access it at this time (believe me I tried). I guess you'll have to rein in your curiosity for now. I know, hard thing to do! :D
    >23:09
Oh you get something in return. It just happens that you don't need it anymore. haha
    >25:39
Well, maybe you'll catch him there.
    >28:35
They could have marked somewhere "You can't get in before it's ready!" but I must admit it wouldn't have been as much fun as letting players try everything! :D
Still they made a pretty decent effort to make the place impregnable... Look at the size of that gate and how it is prolonged almost all the way to the top of the building, with barbed wire even. I bet some of their testers originally found their way in too early so they had to do something about that, a quick fix with a ridiculously high extension.
At least your search for a way in made you explore some previously undiscovered passages, so there's that!
    >30:45
Missing the jump upgrade, are you? :D
    >31:16
Well it was fun while it lasted! You're a real pro at piling up dumpsters and trash cans for weird purposes. :)
    >40:28
If you had the CASIE aug it would be even more obvious to you that Richard has completely neutralized your augmentations. In this case, CASIE is completely useless, it doesn't even give you any coherent reading, at least nothing you can act on.
I find this quest fascinating. After all this time spent relying on his augs, Jensen has to find a solution without them.
It's also a finger pointed at the flaws in mechanical augmentations. Anyone with the proper technical know-how can screw you up. It's kinda worrying...
    >44:30
"That's awesome" is an awesome reaction to having all your augs switched off. :D
    >48:25
There are actually two ways to solve this, a "confrontational" one and a "peaceful" one. You're currently on the path to the confrontation.
    >51:18
Yep, that would be the peaceful option. You even already met the guy.
The input of Liborio would have been helpful in understanding the context and he would have provided you with a peaceful way to counter Richard through dialogue so actually you could show his "flock" what he was really doing to them and also making him see the light and convince him to let go of his plans.
    >58:47
The problem with the "confrontation" plan is that you broke Richard's control but without showing them what he was doing to them (it's actually an objective that you couldn't get because as soon as you entered Richard's backroom all the objectives related to talking with Liborio were cancelled, whether they were already shown or not). So as far as they're concerned you're the bad guy who destroyed their own little "paradise" because they don't understand why it had to be destroyed.
It's not a permanent solution either as the guy is not dead and you didn't convinced him of his mistake so for all we know he may begin again elsewhere... with better defenses this time, possibly adding a few mines and a couple of bots to the turrets. :D
But as usual in DX there's no right or wrong route, just the way you want to play it and the consequences you must face (some immediate and some that can only be imagined).
    >1:05:15
The expectation of the game was that you would stop the slaughter and get answers yourself from the people involved.
The whole situation is equivalent to a random encounter in Fallout. There's no goal to achieve or direct influence on the story, just an extension of the universe to show you what's happening behind the scene.
As for not being quick enough, I didn't do better the first time and my guess is that most if not all players don't, although I did destroy the bots as a retaliatory (albeit late) measure. But they were clearly programmed to do what they did and to target those particular people. You didn't get attacked because they had no kill order regarding you.
    >1:16:43
Try to come back during night time... The code might be useful then.
    >1:18:16
Personally I don't have an issue with Richard's goal nor why he wanted to achieve it (he still might want it in your case). There's nothing wrong with wanting to build a community, but certainly not the way he was doing it. You don't force people to be a part of something. So yeah, Richard is kind of a mixed bag. Good goal, wrong road.
    >1:18:44
I get the impression that he was trying to push Jensen back, not to pull him in. When you tried to use the mike a second time, Richard said something about you not being wanted here. He clearly saw you as a potential problem, not a prospect for his community vision. And well, you gotta admit, he was kind of right... :D
    >1:19:24
Just one of those days, huh? You even embraced a number of dumpsters on the way. XD
I can't wait to see how much mischief you'll cause in Golem. The possibilities are certainly there :) But maybe you'll want to do more dumpster training before that? And to grab the calibrator for Koller.
Not to mention that you still have to go see the psychiatrist and I get the feeling that you're not really into that idea. :D

      > I even know one that gives you PS prompts when you plug a Xbox controller.
This one is one of them :D Oh well.
      > Missing the jump upgrade, are you?
I keep eyeing it every time, but then security or stealth updates also need taking care of :D
      > awesome reaction to having all your augs switched off. :D
I was so fascinated by how unique this mission has been I couldn't help it :D
      > Try to come back during night time...
Huh. I never noticed time of the day change...

So many upgrades, so few Praxis. :)
      >I never noticed time of the day change...
It's not a real day/night cycle. Just a change that occurs after the main mission that you're about to undertake. Take advantage of sightseeing by day now because next it will be Praha by night. A certain district of the city that is barred now will also open then... The red light one... unsurprisingly. :D

About your comment at 40:28 I love how the C.A.S.I.E. Social Enhancer completely changes depending on if the transmission is on or off
      Transmission on
      Personality traits:
      Benevolent
      Optimistic
      Pacifistic
      Psychological profile:
Richard is a great man. His words are an extension of his benevolence; his presence, and antidote to fear. Somehow he has created a space free from aggression, from violence, from despair. The desire to please him is overwhelming. Richard is a great man.
      Transmission off
      Personality traits:
      Narcissistic
      Cruel
      Meager
      Psychological profile:
"Richard the Great" is a desperate man. His hypnotic visions are a trap, an attempt to make others see him as he craves to be seen. As he loses control, Richard may be tempted to do something drastic. Just like his followers, he must be eased out of the experience - must be made to admit that he went too far.
