Hi Friends, if you're looking for a simple way to record your music? We demoed this unit once before with a young Artist, Laura Padaratz. She was just 18 when we did that demo and had no prior recording experience! Today we have Steve Maggiora, keyboard player for Toto, Robert Jon and The Wreck and also a solo artist. Please download the tracks and listen for yourself!
Great video showing a simple unit for anyone who doesn't want to learn a DAW, for instance I know this unite has done very well in Schools where kids are using to do basic multi tracking.
I'm not a producer, not even a musician, just a music enthusiast and this channel has one of the most entertaining content in YT. I watched the whole video just for the musicianship. Such a great voice and so much talent. The device itself is quite cool and it seems easy enough to understand that even non-musicians can follow everything you did. Love the content of this channel please keep up the amazing work, I've learnt a lot from your "Songs that changed music" series.
Okay.......now I'm pissed 😀..... because Steve makes everything look and sound so phenomenal and easy! Dude you're a talent! My 11 year old daughter said, wow what a great voice. That was a fun video to watch. Thank you brother!
This would be so cool for some of the jams I used to do, out in the park, before Covid. I will be doing those again. I would have to save up for a while. But I can see this being a cool investment. Nice to know that Steve and I use a pretty similar sound check song. lol
It's 11pm here I was feeling sleepy and was just about to sleep but then this notification popup on screen.... And as always can't sleep without watching your video. Your amazing 👍
Wow Steve is such an amazing talent. And for agreeing to do this on video makes him such a humble hero. Started to watch thinking i will understand the product and stop watching but never knew how the full duration went by, i wanted to listen to more!!!!!! Thank you Warren for such beautiful or as you say marvellous videos 😘❤️❤️
Really doing marvellously well after watching that Warren. I'm off to buy Steve's band's album right now because he's such a cool, talented and likeable man. Best thing I've seen in ages.
I'm a advanced beginner guitarist and decent vocalist. I just want something to mess around with and record my practice sessions. This will do that and give me capability of actually putting together some songs pretty damn easily. I think I'm sold on this thing. 👍
Absolutely so! I'm sitting here in my humble (and I mean HUMBLE) home studio listening to the latest iteration of a track I've (a) written/composed, (b) arranged, (c) mixed... all on cheap as chips kit... and it sounds frickin' awesome... compared to the £1000 back-in-the-day studio time that produce questionable results at best!!... IF ONLY!! 😩👍

Love it.......Oh, Fantastic Product for those impromptu moments when you feel creative and just need to get something down....Amazing and Just what the industry needs in these times of limited access. Ok this video made me look at my Spire completely different. I was never happy with my mixes. But this guy is amazing. And inspiring me to play with it again. I’ve reviewed it as being a tool to try ideas on.

Great voice, pretty cool device, very nice song, much wanted “real user” experience, one more great video by Warren. Thank you once again man! Greetings from Greece!
Hey Warren, can you please do a follow-up to this track? The multi tracks are awesome but i have no clue how to handle such a huge Dynamic range. Every compressor that i used will go nuts, even if you level out the tracks. Would be great if you can show us how you would mix such a gem of a song. Cheers from Switzerland!
Nice device. Yet, the general awesomeness of the actual performance makes one pretty much forget that the video is supposed to be about the product 😄 Great playing and man, what a voice.
i enjoyed that. good song great vocals. izotope is dope. Not sure but Cubase is the same price. don't listen to me. but I do know he would have gone through hours of hell tracking that in your fav daw.

Everything you showed on the pro /paid app, I had for free the last 3 years. It came with the high priced Spire that I purchased! If they try to suddenly charge $4.99 for me to use my device at it's full potential --I will sell that bitch in 2 seconds .
Hello. I am a poor student from Ukraine, and I only have $ 500-600 for studio monitors. I really love music and cannot live without it. I'm confused, and I don't know what to take from the presented product in this price range, and since you had a lot of budget monitors on the test, and you are a professional in your field, I ask you to recommend the best choice of a studio monitor up to $ 500-600. It is desirable that these are monitors of 7-8 inches. Sorry for the mistakes, as translated by google
Sorry, I can’t see spending the (now higher) price for this thing. Was interested in the original 1st Gen. model but couldn’t see getting it either when I already have an iPad Pro and any number of recording apps available for that. I was hoping they would lower the price but instead they raised it substantially, so, no thanks.
You don’t need an app to run it! That’s an extra thing for multi track recording. I use my first version of the Spire to record writing sessions, it’s run time is extremely long, so I can have it running throughout the whole session!
I think Izotope have made a HUGE mistake with this subscription model. First, it's a $500 product and then they whack on $5 / mth to get full use of the product! Not cool. And Second and a most important point that companies need to recognise, is that consumers only have so much that they can spend on subscriptions. Meaning, after phone, netflix, subs to channels, Slate, Pro Tools, Adobe, and whoever else has hooked you in, the cupboard can get pretty bare, and they will lose potential customers by the truck-load. At the very least, they should make the Pro version available as a one time purchase. However, it's great product and the presentation was awesome.
The hardware works without the subscription, it's for instrumentalist and producers who want to plugin in their instruments, mics and other gear. The pro subscription is for singers and rappers who don't want to deal with a daw. They just record through the phone mic and it cleans up the audio, allows you to add effects, share the stems, and collaborate through the web app.
Great demo and great voice (as ever!) - BUT: -the hardware package is too expensive for what it actually is & does, despite the "nifty lights" -the subscription system is a total no-go, people should have the right to limitlessy & unharassedly (updates, reminders, ads...) use things they have purchased -the app, even in its free version, asks "permission to access device location" and wants that function turned on, at least on Android - WTF is that about?? Multitrack or multimarketing? So, thanks but no, IMHO. Other solutions are far better, or less expensive, or equally capable, or less invasive, or any combination of the above.
