Tsunade can still die under normal circumstances should she either die from an incredibly strong enemy or old age. Considering she barely survived Madara.
Jiraiya (Koji) only lived by chance because someone somehow located his body and made a clone of him. If no one located the body or used his body to make a clone, then Jiraiya would definitely be dead without any other way.

As for Koji, yup. He is a clone, but he still embodies Jiraiya's physical attributes and his techniques.
Jiraiya still lives through him despite being at the bottom of the sea. He didn't cease to exist physically, which is in some sort of way, the purpose of death. He managed to reappear.

@@3takoyakis it's just bad writing. They just wanted to use his face to make naruto fans return again. Everyone knew they fought in the hidden rain, the leaf could've recovered his body, and if not... we all know kabuto couldve used snake summoning to easily retrieve the body from the waters.
Years later, his body should've been carried by the waves and ate by fish. Like it's crazy how bad the writing in boruto has gotten.

I think it’s important to note that in the anime canon, Sasuke is actually the one who has the freshest memory of Jiraiya since the time travel arc. When Naruto asks Amado if Koji knew he was going on a suicide mission, notice the way Sasuke looks at Naruto. I’m pretty sure Sasuke already analyzed everything and has a good hunch that Koji is related to Jiraiya in some way.

Bruh,even with perfect sage mode, body enhancements, with a lot of prep time and planning, he still got clowned by Isshiki
Tbh more of an anti-feat on Isshiki. Perfect sage mode Naruto got demolished by a base Madara in Shippuden. Definitely makes sense why the writers made Koji in Jiraiya's image, but really breaks the already broken scaling of Boruto villains again.
Nah this was mission successfully accomplished.
His job was to injure him to the point where he'd be forced to activate his completed Karma and resurrect into an imperfect body.
He's now on a time limit to implant Kawaki with a Karma lest he dies.
That was Kashin Koji's mission. Killing him was just a bonus.

I totally understand that they have to prioritise the incoming huge fight with Naruto and Sasuke but its still sad to see.
@@po72644 Nah I agree. Boruto specializes in making 1-2 minute fights look great, and it definitely could have been done for at least ONE scene in this fight. I get where the criticism comes from. They could have given us a konohamaru vs jugo level scrap without blowing much budget.
My main complain with this is how they just gotta let Jiraya rest. He went out great and leaving a legacy behind. Imo, it was a great conclusion to the character of Jiraya, and I was so glad they did not bring him back for the Great Ninja War, but that’s just me. Could’ve been worse if it was Jiraya, but it wasn’t so theres that.

Personally I feel they are very similar, only issue is that Kashin had to be serious 100% and couldn’t fool around like Jiraiya. Jiraiya acts this way when he got serious like against Pain and Orochimaru, but when he has down time for chilling he is the laughable goofball super pervert. If Kashin didn’t have to be serious 24/7 I feel he’d be closer to Jiraiya’s image but you can’t be closer than identical in personality
