As a person who has been studying by myself, I can assure that recording myself talking about my day, my life, my plans, these simple, but important things were crucial for improving my speaking. I know this can seems a little bit weird, but when we talk to ourselves there's zero pressure, you can make a mistake without be worry and restart, it's totally worthwhile!

It's a good tip, Milenna. I could complement this, for anyone who are reading your comment, with AI conversation. If you have the priviledge to use the payed version of chatGPT, they released a new version, some days ago, of their speech to speech feature. With this improved feature, you can speech more fluid. It's not necessery to talk, wait the AI process what you've said, then you waiting for IA to answare the entire output. You can have with it a real conversation, like you have with a person in front of you. You can ask it to correct your mistakes too. Try this and let me know if it helped you.

An extremely interesting lesson that takes me back to when, as a boy in the 90s, learning English felt like a more joyful task than it does today. Back then, I had only a grammar book and a student workbook, and doing exercises by hand was the norm. Occasionally, I would listen to the few CDs available in the school library. Fewer resources meant that everything stuck better in my mind, and my relationship with the language was more direct.
I must admit that today's new media have provided a huge opportunity for listening and understanding, among other things. However, I often get lost in the overwhelming amount of resources. When I was younger, working with the few available tools-acting out dialogues from the book, handwriting, and reading aloud-gave me great satisfaction. Still, today’s resources can be used very effectively, as this lesson, along with all the materials and the private community you created, convincingly demonstrates. Thank you, Thiago!

I agree 100% with what you just shared here, Alessandro. My experience learning English was very similar. Rumo a sair do inglês básico 🙌🏻✨

I adopted the mindset that "I'm going to read this until I understand it"...so I watched your video about "simple past vs present perfect" every day for 10 days. It's simply enough to choose some of your favourite themes and your routine becomes more fun.

Hey thiago 👋 my name is andy in the short way . I want to ask one question ...my english is in beginner level and I use different platforms to improve and boost my english but i have a problem of speaking in the grammatical way. what would i do thiago?

In my experience, the speaking skills are the last skills to be developed. Focus on your input for now. Consume content in English (Videos, podcasts, movies, etc.) and do study some grammar with a grammar book. With time, your speaking skills will surface.

when you say: "write down the summary of a episode"....how do you know what you're writing, is correct?

I would recommend using ChatGPT or Google Gemini for that. You can paste your text there and ask the bot to correct your text and give you feedback.
