- G.Douglas Timber Haulage Scania R620 V8 tag axle loaded with spruce logs. In-cab off road footage coming out of Kielder forest from Blacklinn near "the Comme" over the "Rooking" on the penine way eventually coming to the Burness forest drive and out onto the A68 near Burness village. Taken April 2017. Loaded for A.J.Scott saw mill Wooperton.
As one one of the blokes that did your unit and trailer inspections, i can see why your gear never really had any major issues! Nice to see someone with a shed load of mechanical sympathy and not going like the clappers lol.

ADD WILLIAMSON They are not bad once there has been a few loads out so you can see the fresh wheel tracks but it can be fun trying to find the new jobs if your the first to run in! The load info etc is in the description if you expand it underneath the title. Cheers!

you know the bullhauler known as the last of dying breed,its not good to see the cowboy culture vanished and become history...i love semi truck with straight pipe,loud jake, lonesome turbo whistle LoL,cb radio blarin,even the noisy old detroit ''screaming jimmy'..western star,peterbilt,kenwort,mack,hayea,international, gmc hope someday drive want of these...guess it takes a special breed to be a truck drivin man and a steady hand to pull that load behind..well keep on trucking sir,10-4 and goodbye.

The exhaust brake switches on the keep the revs down while it's changing gears.
What is it that causes that sound?

Alan Scott hi Al, it's good fortune if you do not have a C.B. Radio. All the loggers and forestry lads run on channel 8 so you just keep shouting on the C.B. To see if there's anyone around. Otherwise you can have a lot of reversing to do!!!
