HOMEBROS X MOVES MAGAZINE Present ‘Les Sapeurs’ Feat HomeFam

This year we collaborated with Moves magazine on this special visual project - ‘Les Sapeurs’
Inspired by Congolese La Sape culture, ‘Les Sapeurs’ reimagines the escapism and explores the expressionism of Les Sapeurs in the context of East London.
Referencing the environment and culture that molded them, this body of work highlights the importance of expressing yourself through dance and creativity; something that has allowed renowned movement artists, Kurtis ‘Kurtyswift’ Agyekem (@kurtyswift) and George ‘Unkle TC’ Duker (@unkle.tc) to break out their environment and ultimately inspire a generation of movers in their community and beyond.
