LRT3 BU 11 (Station SA03), Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya / LRT3 Shah Alam Line Latest Progress Update

The LRT Shah Alam Line or LRT 3, previously known as the LRT Bandar Utama-Klang Line, LRT Bandar Utama-Johan Setia Line or simply LRT Johan Setia Line, is a medium-capacity light rapid transit (LRT) line which will be serving the Shah Alam and Klang regions on the western side of the Klang Valley, Malaysia. It will be the third LRT line, and the fourth fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley region. The line will be operated as part of the RapidKL system by Rapid Rail, a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia. It was announced by Prasarana Malaysia on 24 April 2013.
Once completed, the line will form part of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. It is numbered 11 and coloured sky blue on official transit maps.
The line is one out of four rapid transit lines in the Klang Valley that does not serve KL Sentral, the other three being the Ampang Line, Sri Petaling Line and the Putrajaya Line, as well as the first rapid transit line in the Klang Valley that is entirely outside the borders of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

glad to see the new lrt station taking shape adjacent to the kayu ara tollgate! we will surely passing this new lrt station every time we are going into uptown, atria and 1u coming from the northern and southern regions.

PJ part works much faster than the shah alam part; this will be a hindrance to overall progress if the shah alam section is slower than the rest. However, contractors in Shah Alam package will be sued if they don't finish all construction by this year. So don't play2.. In future, if you want a government contract, make sure your capital is enough, as LRT3 or any MRT project requires infrastructure to be ready first before payment. It's common sense. These slower contractors expect capital in advance before working btw the new methods are good to secure project involvement from corruption but the contractors should think twice before taking part in PT projects.
