@@Averagemobileeditor Might be going back to Tambuki in the Sondela Nature Reserve at the end of July. Then going back to Kruger in November for a long weekend.
Thank you for the content. I'm in the market for a Ford Ranger and I like the tub rack with the rooftop tent on it. But now you use the Medallion Trailer. How easy is it to remove the tub rack to have a normal bakkie during the week and why did you go for a trailer? Is to have more capacity?
Howzit Clive. Yes, I have both the trailer and the RTT on the rack over the tub. I use both, but I use them for different occasions. The trailer is for longer trips, or trips away with the family when we need more space, or will be staying in the same place for a few days and need a home base. The RTT is for shorter trips, or road trips, when I go away on my own or just with my wife. The rack on the Ranger is from Front Runner, as is the RTT. Once the rack is installed it is difficult to remove as you have to undo and remove all of the bolts to take it on and off. I can be done, but it is a little time consuming, so I just leave mine on. The RTT is easy to remove though as it has quick release bolts and just slides on and off, so that I do remove between trips, but I leave the rack on.
No, I use the Jackery to charge my cellphone, watch, camera batteries etc. the fridge is running off my National Luna DC25 battery box with a 100Ah dry cell battery in it. The NL battery box is fitted in the rear of the vehicle.
😊 good question! I don’t do all of my trips alone - only occasionally. I have a family and do many of my trips with them. Occasionally however, they aren’t able to join me and so I will do a solo trip.

Great video. Camp looked so quite and peaceful. Did you perhaps hear any noise from the local nearby villages at night?
Thanks! Appreciate the comment! 😊 There was a little bit of noise coming up form the township nearby, but not too bad.
You definitely need a camping mate bro….let’s go Namibian sometime next year…but our women 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 Always keen! Gets lonely sometimes! 🤣
Hi is the Jakery keeping your fridge on?

How about a new camping club. Give each other tips on how to spec our cars for off road and stuff.
Nice idea! Always happy to share ideas and tips of what works for me!
As a novice person on overlanding, what is the significance of climbing over a recovery traction board overnight.
Good question! I use the recovery boards to help level the vehicle so that I am not sleeping on a slope! 😊
Understood. Thanks@@CampSeekerAfrica
Why do you want to do all that alone? If you don't have a wife why don't you adopt a couple of boys from foster care and have your own family
