Xena: Warrior Princess is an action video game that was released on the PlayStation, developed by VU Games and published by Electronic Arts, the Game Boy Color version was developed and publish by Titus Software, also a PlayStation 2 version was release but only in PAL territories, developed by EM Studios and published by Blast! Entertainment. all which based on the popular television series with the same name.
While journeying with her partner Gabrielle, Xena decides to take a short detour and visit a friend named Siras. As Gabrielle continues in the other direction, Xena notices smoke rising from Siras' village and decides to investigate. While Xena is busy rescuing the village from invasion, Gabrielle is kidnapped, and the two are gradually drawn into mythological conflict involving a sorceress' ambition to usurp Zeus.

This game was so underrated. It wasn't a masterpiece by any means, and some of the level design fell a little flat, but when it worked it worked, and the combat was actually really fluid, diverse, and looked cool. Takes time to get a hang of the game, but it's a great one that I miss playing as a kid.
Imagine a remake of this game wow that will be awesome there is alot of petition here zena fighting gods her most iconic weapon it's just gonna be great give me alot of great memories

When I was a kid I used to play this game a lot when I was alone with my grandma in Turkey for 6 weeks. I couldn’t speak Turkish and so I had problems mixing in with people there and the only thing that kept me entertained was my PS1. Xena and Fighting Force were so good at the time.

Those sound effects had to fit into a tiny amount of ram. So, for example the hit reaction sound is the same sound as the cart rolling, its just a change in pitch.

this game got me addicted for real. i remember i couldn't go beyond the lion statues but after many years i was very determined and started playing again till i reached the same point i stopped before and cracked the riddle and managed to beat the whole game and that was a milestone to me!

I remember playing the PS1 game on my PS2 cuz I didn’t have the PS2 version. And I couldn’t save the game. So me and my sister finished the game every time without unplugging the console. It was the best! So nostalgic! I was 5

My cousin used to play this and used to just watch him cuz this game was actually hard ha and abit dark for me as a kid and i found it so cool the way he would throw that ring and he would have it go a long way i was like WOW ! Ha wish they could remake this game !

Loved playing this game on my PSX! Ironically, my sister, who was more of a Xena fan than I was, hated this game and sucked shit at it. The stone monsters and flying skeletal demons near the end were a nightmare!
