It’s interesting to see beat makers moving towards Americana sounds now. I guess we will see an era of Americana singers who don’t play instruments like, just download beats and sing over them. Interesting.
kinda like how Nashville is with session artists, producers, and engineers, except in this case I’m the session artist, producer and engineer. It’s not a super new thing for artists to use instrumentals. I get your worry, though the goal is to have the track inspire the artist, they then can use it and add/take away more properties to make it their unique thing, just like any other production would be. Having instrumentals doesn’t necessarily remove the need for artists to play instruments. If anything, I feel like artists that don’t play instruments, or work for their craft, won’t even be able to create anything of significance even if the entire instrumental is already done. Music is so much more than sound.
Bro these videos are so damn valuable thank you. WE APPRECIATE YOU
thanks man! really appreciate it!
I love this so much, thank you!
Thanks for your videos bro)) ❤❤❤
great vid, thank you!
Thank you!
Awesome. I would like to get started on something like this, what app should I use?
@@owenantaya8699 any daw you’d like
Another awesome video! Thanks for sharing. How would you go about processing a vocal for this track to get that Zach Bryan sound?
Honestly pretty minimal, light compression and eq, some saturation and any space/modulation fx needed. I'd stick to analog recreations (CLA76, UAD plugins) and id work on getting a nice realistic room (Soundcity Studios by UAD would work nicely)
@@mtchlrprod I appreciate the feedback! Thanks again for these videos, they are great
2:48 do you have a link to the video of the Instagram live where you recorded everything?
Damn! just tried to find it and wasnt able... :/
@@mtchlrprod No worries! Thanks for looking... I had tried to find it as well :/
Do you send your instrumentals out to signed artists and writers? Didn’t know if you ran into issues with them not wanting to use something that has been leased by other people.
Yeah people will definitely buy beat leases, and if I send a beat to an artist, usually its original and not previously uploaded. Those that are concerned with the beat being used multiple times will usually just ask me to produce something original and exclusive!
What DAW are you using in this video?
Ableton!
