Uttarakhand: Heavy Rains Trigger Massive Landslide On Badrinath Highway, Traffic Snarled

Vehicular movement on the Badrinath National Highway in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district was halted for several hours after a massive landslide occurred today. The landslide caused a huge portion of a hill to crumble onto the road, resulting in significant damage to a part of the highway.
This incident has been attributed to the heavy rainfall that has been affecting various parts of Uttarakhand over the past few days. The video footage of the landslide shows a dramatic collapse of earth and rocks, blocking the highway and making it impassable.
