Really like that both champions this month have similar play styles and rotations but with their respective class characteristics, Attuma with purifies and bleed, and Shuri with armor ups and shock
They both also are reactive to how many charges they have. The more charges Attuma has, the more his skin glows and the more charges Shuri has, the more her suit glows.
The can block unnblockale specials attacks when duped too.
Being from South Africa I'm happy to see Zulu language introduced on this game plus I'm liking both champs, first time in a while
Considering how long it takes to build the shocks, that sp3 dmg is quite low in comparison to galan when you can just build the planetary mass and deal about 200k burst dmg in 1 sp2.

The fact that her shocks aren’t consumed after each special 3 is insane. Imagine cycling special 3s at 99 shocks and critical shocks, with some kind of super powered power boost node.

(sigh) ok, 2018 Shuri ramp up looks ridiculously long and until you hit 99 shocks, her damage doesn't look good at all not to mention alot of defensive champs are shock immune but whatever she will be like black cat, just another champ not useful enough and forgotten about DOA
Interesting kit.....ALTHOUGH why does she have untouchable??? Doesnt seem to match with her character abilities neither in the MCU nor the comics

Is Shuri damage mostly from shock.. so she would not be great attacker vs shock immune.. Thing, Korg, Doom, Antman

Definitely seems like a champ that’s going to be extremely underrated at release. I also think this is a battle ground champ instead of a content clearing champ. simple rotation that does a good amount of DOT, probably going to be a pretty annoying defender with annoying specials, can deal with some annoying defenders in mystics because she doesn’t gain any buffs naturally and mutants like domino since she can’t have her ability accuracy reduced. Very solid

I was hooked on shuri at first but the more I watched the deep dive, the more worried I am about her damage taking too long to get into. Feels like omega sentinel but worse. Could be wrong tho (I hope I am)
Now that I think about it Shuri could have been the tech version of Apocalypse/Galan where after some fight she could gain charges which could help upgrade the equipment of other tech champions so she doesn’t need to fight more

Idk, if u want shock damage just use nebula, her burst damage on sp3 wasn't that big for 99 passive shocks and 99 regular shocks. idk will have to see in game with shorter fights, her rotation seem kinda, eh too 2 sp1s an sp2 and an sp1 into sp3 with heavies mixed in, nebula just hold block parry sp2 or go to sp3 and then parry whenever and sp2
seems similar to gorr in a way. you can just build and maintain the debuffs/passives for reliable DoT. or you can occassionally mix in a sp3 for some solid burst. theres a good few champs like this now it seems. omega sentinel is another that comes to mind
@@m.ibrahim_2501 yup the first champion I thought of was omega sentinel. The fact that omega Sentinel only needs 20 incinerates for max damage and Max SP3 burst makes shuri 99 x2 shocks look like way to many. Also the fact that they do similar amount of damage but you can get to it way faster with omega Sentinel vs the right mutants also makes it look a little worst. I definitely think shuri is going to be a good addition tho

She seems slow champ to build up legitimate damage.. hopefully I'm wrong. There's nothing that stands out about her that makes you need her for your roster
For me the playstyles sound way to complex. In combination with high end modes we will see if this is practical.

This is the Shuri I wanted to see in Wakanda Forever. The combination of her high tech and strength, basically Iron Panther.

So how on earth do you explain Shuri and Misty Knight being able to flush Storm and Iceman in this game with their own abilities and they're omega level mutants .Storm should be doing most of what Shuri is doing and more including not taking damage from Korg or electro and evading all bulleted attacks without apocalypse. She doesn’t even apply debuffs like armor breaks, frostbite, incinerate or passive shocks. Iceman should be able to do more damage and stack up his Frostbites. This guy is almost immortal. He barely stacks them and Misty knight is out here applying 20😂😂😂.
