Not every character needs to have the ridiculous damage of Sunspot or Aegon. I think Apocalypse's damage is there it is just hard to see in a rapid fire video like this. Even if he doesn't do that much damage I still want him for his size, design, animations, pre fight ability, and imposing factor.
I sure hope you're happy with the champion you got! Probs a little better than most players thought.

Just funny how kabam team picks and chooses who will be a huge damage dealer. I know everyone can’t be a candidate for abyss but dam the health pools in new content is so high we need champs that can make a real dent

It is P2W... They have almost no interest in game balance. It is just a matter of creating new useless champs and, every 2-3 months, a new one who will make people spend a lot of money.
Fausto Faria bruh this game isnt that p2w, Im free to play and played for a long while and i still have so much content to go through, and i have some pretty solid chanps with a few op ones
If you think about it, this game is very f2p and if you gotta grind a little then do it or dont and just passively play, both work and whichever is best or fun for the player it rewards both

idk what people mean by "damage looks bad" with all that utility and synergy power don't expect him to hit like Aegon fully ramped up. He hits decently hard and still seems pretty good damage-wise, y'all mfs complaining about nothing, not every champion needs every aspect of the game, he looks to be able to hold his own and still hit decently hard.

@Asher Mason there is more to champ than damage. Let's list what he has that makes him stand out. 3 Immunities, 2 damage over time that lasts the majority of the fight, support in synergies and horseman, AA reduction that lasts most of the fights, weakness which can reduce incoming block damage, he has burst damage on the SP2 which I am sure you didn't count because that's where the SP2 damage comes from, he is a good defender, and great on a final boss node, immune to parry, is there anything else I am missing? Not every champ needs to be Aegon, they can offer more than damage. I mean look at Warlock, his utility is strong so he doesn't need to hit super hard.
@Asher Mason oh he can also heal cross fight, ignore evade, ignore tenacity, and heavy attack bleed.
He is my first Ascended 6 star champion and I absolutely LOVE it! He is super tanky and deals insane damage. A mutant that can change the game for any player!
Did the same thing to apocalypse that they did to silver surfer. Should be one of the strongest in the game and has the damage of spiderman

TonytheMyth his sp3 actually hits as hard as bwcv sp3 with 20 charges so I’d say he’s not on spiderman levels of weak.
@@ISMythix He has more utility than spiderman, better synergies, and the horseman ability. Also, he hits very hard once you have your debuffs applied.

I think he has okay damage with lots of utility whereas prof x has insane potential damage but he has low utility in my opinion. I pulled him today from the devil, very lucky. Mange to pull a 5 star but yeah he lacks utility to me. But damage his very high potential.

@@Artoria_77 The Deep DIve did a terrible Job at Showcasing his damage tbh. With Full rampup and a FUll Mutant team, he destroys stuff, But he doesn't hit as hard Standalone and his Rampup is a drag. But he's much better than this showcase makes him out to be

I agree with @jgci. His overall damage and utility is CRAZY! And did you see the damage impact that he had on both Storms, Psylocke, and Wolverine?!!! It was TREMENDOUS! AND there's additional Special Attack damage from Prowess buffs, Critical damage rating, and Offensive ability increase on ANY/EVERY mutant that becomes a horseman. That means Domino, Omega Red, Namor, and Magneto Red are officially INSANE!!!!! And at 4 genetic code, he's basically unblockable every 12 seconds. What more do you want? He's potentially the best champion in the game now!
His damage was kind of hard to see since the main fight showcases were realm of legends fights and those have very large health pools. His physical damage bursts were much easier to see on some of those smaller health pool fights. They were getting absolutely blasted. By the way if you don't think he has damage you should still love him for his design, animations, size changing mechanic (really putting the large in extra large), pre fight ability, utility, and so much more. If you can't tell definitely one of my favorite mcoc characters and he his crystals haven't even been released for early access.

I don't think ANYONE realizes exactly how powerful he really is. With his horseman ability alone, he's an OP Champion. Doesn't anyone understand just how much more POWERFUL Magneto Red, Domino, Omega Red, and Namor are now with the Prowess, Offensive ability accuracy, and Critical damage rating synergies are?!!!! They were already OP champions and now it's just cheating! And didn't anyone see Wolverine, both Storms, and Psylocke's, tremendous damage?!!!!! Y'all are missing it. Arguably one of the top 3 champions IMMEDIATELY!!!!
And I forgot about Professor X too! Professor X was already really good but as a horseman he's KILLER!

I’ve never played this game and I tried watching the video to understand this genetic code gimmick but I still don’t get it. I do play fighting games, can someone explain to me in simple terms how this mechanic works?
Apoc starts each quest with 1 charge
Gain one charge if knocking out a non robot
Gain two charges at the start of the fight when against a mutant (starts the fight with 3 charges and then gains another for winning the fight)
Start with 2 charges if placed on defense
Start if 3 if placed on boss node
Where is my mutant mision

He doesn't have no damage - remember he deals burst damage per debuff, so at 4 debuffs he'd dealing 3.5K(5/5 desls 2.5k) burst damage per hit. The sp1 is a 6 hit special and his sp2 is a 8hit special. For the r3 6 star, this adds 28K extra damage on the sp2, and for the 5/5, it adds about 20K. I'm pretty sure this scales with attack, which he can get up to 60% so...

@@alucard1522 Sunspot, his dmg thru block is great, and sp2 with 4 prowess hits like crazy, plus if you stack flare states, his base dmg is thru the roof
Tbh magneto was the best thing we got out of this update. Not counting synergies Prof X is god tier and Apocalypse is well... You can see for yourself. Magneto is the only beyond God tier or broken op tier character that we got in this update

Gaming Arts Imo white mags is a better addition to the game, we already have tons of characters with broken damage, red mags isn’t anything special. White mags may be an inferior character but the ability to let any hero or metal character passively parry is something that no one else has and as shown by storm pyramid x, passive parries are extremely valuable against some nodes or characters. Plus you don’t need to rank him up to gain benefits to your roster,

Well low damage is not a new thing, but i think those synergies and herald of apocalypse ability are very insane, It can make so many mutants so much viable and very strong(we saw in the video) , Hes addition to the game is a big boon to other champions also he has some good abilities and would be a very annoying defender, also don't forget there is Proffessor X and Magneto both what would they do to so many champions, I think next months gonna be very fun to see all the gameplay of these on youtube

@@boonslang6689 If you compare this gameplay to an actual 6* r3 in game, you notice how the one in game hits much harder. Even without suicides nor an specific build up. The thing with these deep dive gameplays, or at least the early ones, is that they didn't seem to show a champ with proper build up or even finished (I mean, like they were probably still working on their stats). Same with Tigra.
@@conchetumareweon2691 That's exactly my point. I don't buy these guides at all. There is only One way I make up my mind on any released champ, by playing him myself. Unless he is like CGR or Doom levels bonkers. These guides undermine a lot of abilities if the champ is not big on crazy biy yellow numbers. I remember for how long people slept on CAIW and woke up from the hibernation months later when he made to the basics and people actually get to play him. Same with Domino. Everyone overhyped her so much but she is almost a bench warmer these days for end game players. The moment I played Apocalypse, I knew this guy is an omega But one have to play and use him to understand it.
