Not sure if someone already informed you, but the reason there is always coffee still in the pod after using is because it is running hot water through the coffee grounds. No coffee grounds are going into your cup. It is just extracting coffee flavour from it. This is how espresso works. You grind the coffee beans and then extract a shot of coffee from it. All of the coffee grounds stay exactly where they are. They are just getting soaked with water to extract a shot of coffee.
I own two Nespesso machines, one in the kitchen and one in the study. I bought the Tassimo My Way 2 because I wanted to be able to make hot chocolate drinks and I originally had it in my bedroom. I LOVE this machine so much I have swapped it with the one in my study and it has become my absolute favourite of my three coffee makers. The range of drinks you can buy is utterly fantastic. I love the temperature button and being able to vary the strength of the coffee. The only gripe I have (and this is true with every machine I own) the water tank is just not large enough, It's so annoying that I have to refill it two or three times a day - yep, I drink a lot of coffee. This machine gets a huge recommend from me.
Regarding the small water tank problem. I've connected my coffee machine to a larger water reservoir using a hose (from the top through the lid, like communicating vessels). It works perfectly! For the hose, I used a food-grade tube from one of those running water bottles with hoses. Now there's no need to constantly refill the water, even if you drink a lot of coffee throughout the day. =)
I got mine last week and will be using it tomorrow. I am so tired of drinking normal home made coffee with milk every day for the last 10 years. It was time for a change. I just home this machine coulf give me and husband a little bit of feeling if costa and so reduce soending loads of money everyday. Husband buys costa 3very day due to work and hope it will save us some pound as well. Thanks

I bought one of these when my old Tassimo machine failed. This is by far the best coffee machine I’ve had. So much more control than the older basic machine. Like the idea of the filter. The only thing I miss is the little light over the cup area that was on my older machine, but no great problem. My favourite drink is the Costa Americano, but the Cadbury chocolate is great in the evening. I like to add a squirt of sugar free caramel syrup instead of sugar as well!
We have had exactly that machine, but in that cream colour for a few months. It gets used constantly by both of us. It’s excellent in every way the caramel latte is to die for and the Colombian is my favourite. The coffee left in the pod is correct, the hot water washes through it and leaves the coffee behind great review. Edit. Just realised you didn’t cover the cleaning process. We live in a hard water area and the light comes on regularly to de-scale it.

Great. I've got the basic Tassimo which is good but alway felt the coffee could be stronger. Hopefully this model gives some control over that? Also I think there is meant to be coffee left in the pods as it isn't instant dissolvable coffee. It's ground coffee. 👍
This model give you the possibility to make the coffee stronger, my Tassimo My way first edition is now 5 years old with no problems, this machine is great. I Love it!
There will always be coffee left in the pods as it’s not instant. The pressure pushes the flavour out. Just like a cafetière where it’s left in the bottom and strained off.

I have a Bosch tassimo my way 2 but didn’t like the filter in the tank so I brought a tassimo my way tank without the filter separately. This is because I already use a Brita filter jug. But the machine itself is just excellent and so quiet.
I think what you can see 'left over' in there is the coffee grounds - i.e its not instant coffee it's non-disolvable coffee grounds. Could you do a video on how to clean the machine and one on using the reusable pods?

I have one, I love it. My perfect cup is made by putting in the pod, pressing medium cup, when it's finished lift the lid and close it again without changing the pod, and select small. Perfect. For some reason this makes a much better mug than selecting large, don't ask me why! Well worth the money.

Thanks for that review. I have my Tassimo Caddy for 6 years now xD and I always felt that coffee is too weak and I felt bad because I couldn't control how much liquid I could get. I noticed you selected small cup size in the video, but would that cup be classed as a large… is there any particular reason you selected small cup? Also, if you want to preset the 4 settings how is this done, do you just press the number and select the options? Thanks

Taking a bit of getting used to, in a 350ml glass mug, latte milk pod is set to extra hot large cup on the settings, latte pod gets set to extra hot small cup, perfect results

I just got one for Christmas, and frankly the instructions are rubbish, thank you for agreeing. I’m actually quite shocked how difficult it is to understand. There are no pods included? This is disappointing as my husband just thought we can could use own own coffee. I would like to return it, as I do not like wasting coffee and I would prefer to use real milk than powered milk? Does it taste ok? Thank you.
It needs descaling. Use the orange disk, like I did at the start of the video. If it still flashes you need to replace the brita filter, if you are using the same model in the video if you're not it should be fine.

I bought one of these when my old Tassimo machine failed. This is by far the best coffee machine I’ve had. So much more control than the older basic machine. Like the idea of the filter. Stopped using the virtue nespresso cos coffee too strong this is much better for me. I prefer milky latte and this suits me better.

You select the options for the drink and then you press and hold the memory button where you wish to store it.

What is left in the pods is coffee grinds. This is normal. The capsule will never be empty when you have finished making a drink.
Is there alternative for milk pods?

Could you please explain those number (1/2/3/4) what they represent it ?
Does the orange scanner stay in the machine when placing the pod in the machine or do you remove it?
It stays in the side of the machine for safe keeping, as you'll need it in the future.

You only need to fill the tank once it holds enough water to clean it four times

got this coffee maker from my brother in UK, and the cleaning disc is missing, is it still useable?
It’s still useable but you need the disc to clean the inside of the machine, before making a drink.
