So pretty! Why do you do a weld bond wash on the glass on glass project, before grouting? Would the Mac glue not hold up or is it to seal everything?

The wash is to prevent grout bleed. I guess you found the answer though!

Your videos are a bright spot in my day! The fountain is looking fabulous. Can I ask why you put the 50/50 wash on the glass on glass piece?

It is to prevent grout from seeping under the glass and filling pockets that don't have glue. It's called grout bleed when that happens and it can ruin a glass on glass piece!
