The thing is pure junk, only lasted 2.5 summers....the remote was quirky, the fan would suddenly shut off when in oscillation mode, so we couldn’t use that feature anymore and it’s last day it squeaked terribly....I lubed the fan shaft and no more squeaks but it failed for good that evening. Trust me...don’t purchase it.
You couldn’t of said it any better than I can. The fan was designed to last a very short period and then die. There’s nothing that can be done with it after that. It just dies and that’s absolutely it. It’s an awful fan. I have no regrets getting rid of it.
What’s ironic is they offer an 8 year warranty with the fans, but it’s no use to keep replacing the fan every few years. I think most people (myself included) have moved on to another fan entirely.
Not bad looking and I like the quietness and the 6 speeds. But I don't get the second smaller blade and the "breeze mode would bother me.
