Visit it every year, always something new to see. Went there as a child in the 1950s. It was sad. Today it is beautiful, especially the gardens

I completely agree! There is always something new to see. The images I've seen from the years of neglect are astounding. It must have been something to see then, and compare to the now. I love the gardens too! Thank you so much for watching our video, and leaving a nice comment. :) (Melinda)

Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed the video. :) And how wonderful you were able to visit the castle last week! I am so deeply moved every time I visit. What was your favorite room or area of the castle/Heart Island?

Hey, Peter! Someday we may be neighbors. :) My husband would like to retire up that way in about 9 years or so. And I sooooo wish this beautiful, tragic story could be made into a movie. It's so incredibly moving. Thank you for taking the time to watch our video and leaving a comment! :) (Melinda)
