i have this laptop , but with the 3060 , its weird because i cant find my pc for sale anywhere .... anyhow i love mine it works pretty good i dont game on it i only use it to browse the web i have a ps5 for gaming .
I own a 2020 omen 15. I love many aspects of it however the screen could rather easily be made in to a 10 by 16 screen ratio. And should be made less bendy. My screen has couple of purpleish pixels from the screen bending against the keyboard. You cant thankfully see them unless in full brightness and in a dark background. Overall it's held up well and hasn't had any hardware problems windows still being windows tho.
I just ordered one here in Europe for 1130 euros and difference is only 16 gigs of ram and 512SSD. I want to have it as a secondary to my gaming PC. I own also Xbox Series X and Steam deck but I will sell them and the difference is then only cca 300-400 euros.
Normal 150w 3070ti laptop gpu clock speed is near 1450mhz I think , but this has near 1000mhz as shown in gpuz, does it shows 1000mhz during gaming or higher

A lot of other people are also facing the same problem. What do you think could be the reason? Did you tweak anything that leads to superior performance?
We run all our tests on the maximum performance profile available on any laptop. So that might be a reason. In addition, we also make sure it’s running on the dedicated GPU only using the MUX switch.

For this same exact specs? If so, that's not too bad a deal but perhaps you can look for newer laptops with RTX 40-series graphics and see how much of a price difference it would be.

The HP Omen 16’s noise level ranges from 34-40 dBa. It’s noticeable but typical for a gaming laptop.
Noticed the low GPU base and boost clock speed. Is that a matter of concern?

The model we had was black too. It might just be a SKU difference from region to region.

In India atleast, they are WIDELY overpriced. Legion 5 and 5i are better value in India.
