Regarding OpenTabletDriver support, the tablet itself has a firmware that opens exclusively for Windows (this is a non-issue on Linux and Mac), and requires WinUSB to have it be accessible by other programs. OTD currently does not support WinUSB and thus can't access the tablet. A similar issue is present within the Huion 420, Huion H420, certain Huion 1060 models (there's a certain pattern with Huion tablets here). Gaomon as a company is really only an offshoot of Huion so this issue was bound to come up eventually.
Like any tablet manufactured by Huion (make tablets for Huion, Gaomon, veikk, acePen and others...) the S630 is prone to un-removable hardware smoothing using typical anti-smoothing filters, the only one really working being reconstructor, available in OTD, unfortunately, this tablet is not compatible for the reasons stated by snow. Also, all Gaomon's products can be bought for cheaper on their Aliexpress's official store (i unfortunately can't leave a link here since this comment would be somehow detected as a potential spam). I would personally not advice buying it as there aren't any real advantages compared to an S620 that work with OTD and can benefit from the reconstructor plugin on top of other ports and homemade smoothings and antichatters filters that you'll find there.
Solid review, desc says “let me know if you want more of these”, and I definitely would like more of these. Tablet doesn’t seem half bad either. Review of review: Well done, and nice editing
Some stuff I wanna address (a year late): 1. No, Gaomon didn't pay me, they really only sent the tablet. My main motivation for making the video was to try the tablet for free (I underestimated how much time it would take to make the video, so I probably won't do another one for a while unless I'm REALLY bored) 2. Some people have since told me that there in fact IS smoothing, and that there is no way for this tablet to be supported by opentabletdriver. These are some important facts that you should definitely take note of. (I really didn't notice smoothing. For reference, the 2nd map I played in the video I find to be pretty unplayable when I use smoothing filters on Wacom tablets) 3. Some people find it pretty hard to believe that I liked this tablet more than the CTL480/471. I want to reiterate that this is with the STOCK PEN, and using my own playstyle (dragging on cardstock). I still stand by this, and I'll double down by saying that dragging at all with the Wacom stock pen feels worse than dragging with this pen. As with all things, this stuff is subjective.
do you think you could make a video covering your pen modifications more in depth? (i guess kinda like a guide lol) i've been interested in removing my pen buttons but have been afraid to do so :(

Nice video, your voice is well fit and soothing for these type of videos.

@@Gess1t I see that VEIKK S640 V2 is also supported by OTD, at the same price point, do you know if there is a reason to go for one over the other?

I second to this.
Looking foward for this. It seems a bit similar to the viekk s640 in terms of software. Will try to get one later next month
don't, get an S620 instead, more customization thanks to OTD, it's a known good tablet and work OOB with OTD if you don't install gaomon's drivers
What keyboard are you using?
pretty cool video, thanks
Gaomon Tablet without smoothing? I-Impossible!
where did you find your desktop wallpaper?
very interesting video
How do you remove pen buttons? I press that shit mid run and it throws my aim off
Not a bad review

@@monko2k thanks so much!
skin?
What’s the smoothing like on it? I’m not sure if I’m either deaf, or if it just wasn’t a topic in the video.
Unnoticeable for me
