I m actually proud of myself that my husband was aware but he wasn’t aware how bad periods and its cramps can be.. I educated him that’s its very bad pain that is similar to getting labour pain .. abd now he treats his lady staff very respectfully if they ask leave due to not feeling well. And if his male staff complains that he is soft with girls in terms of giving leave he tells that don’t compare yourself with girls they hv other health issues which only women hv ..

I would say, as you see changes that our new generation is doing. They are trying hard to break stereotypes against such things. There is no way long when we could normalise it atleast our new generation. And I personally feel that its moral duty of every boy to understand things deeply and co-operate with them. Back in 2020-21 during covid times I was with my elder sister who is now 31. We were alone in a different city and our parents in another city. Most of the time I went out and bought pads for her. Now I am 21 at college but still remember those days especially when she would break down and shout at me for no reason( period cramps )
My brother who's in 10th standard know about periods like whenever I have heavy cramps he bring me an hot water bag and some chocolates to calm me down I love my brother too much he always takes care of me whenever I'm on my periods (he cares for me regularly also:)

I got to know about periods from internet! Otherwise, I probably may don't know about it , just before a couple of year ago, I didn't even know they exist at all, However, I respect those girls who go through all these painful things! Thanks to my mother who went through all these and conceived me and internet for making me aware of periods!
Yaaaa..... But i grew up in an environment where my dad openly talked about menstrual hygiene and comfort and rest and well... Am lucky to have my father n husband... Just plain lucky when it comes to the men in my life
I can say unhesitatingly that i know about periods, cramps and unbearable pain which is face by every women...! I have helped my best friend and she even never feel shy to share about this. She feels completely comfortable with me and no doubt she truly trust on me. Bless us that we can continue our friendship and understanding till the last day 😊
Even my best friend understand it through the way I text him as he is posted in shillong . If m irritated or something like that he understands and will say are you on periods then he will suggest me ways to rest and comfort myself. M so happy to find him as my best friend. He always say I won't ask my wife to give natural birth to a baby we will rather adopt as I can't see her in immense pain. Ufff such a genuine guy he is❤❤ i wish everyone gets a guy like him ❤
our schools only organize camps for girls to educate about periods but why not boys, even if it's something about periods only girls r told that why???? What I believe is that not only girls but boys should also be educated about it, it's not a taboo or a crime, it's so common and still people don't take the initiative the talk about it, those boys r a son and brother to someone and are gonna be a husband and a father, isn't it imp that they know what's happening with their loved ones, how much pain they go through every month, isn't it imp, I don't think that it's inappropriate to tell all this to a man or a boy, it's not a thing to talk about in private rather than to open up and comfort the other women who go through it, i really wish that this day would come too, idk when we will be able to be open about it without hesitating.
True, I remember this incident from school when I was in 5th, they called all the girls from 5th standard. They told us that its for party only for girls. Then after reaching home I told my sister about this incident and di explained me the reason.
Donot push boys or men here, its just how we grow up.. how we taught by the society. If society needs change definately it happens.... Now a days everybody is learning getting degrees, coming out of comfort zone, So lets go forward..... Together Comfortably, and all the girls or women who all earning or got education do not stop there plz help women/girls who donot know anything of world, And Boys too have a lot of problems.... Its jus that its ignored in men oriented society,.....
Periods is not a public topic, marriage is. People back then did not enjoy to share periods and what they were back then but they do now so it takes time to know about internet, and remember this was when her father was 30 and a man. He probably was not educated, thats not his problem. You cannot laugh at an old mam because he does not know the pythogoras theorem, he just did not learn it, there was nobody to teach him. Maybe why not try to teach people about mensturation, that would cause a lot of people to learn something and avoid struggles in society
@@artemis7642 Don’t take it serious. I was cracking a joke. I wanted to tell, marriage (s*x) is something that people understand with any prior knowledge or any kinds of consultancy. 😶😶
@@ujwalakadam9940 🙄🙄 You couldn’t crack the joke mam. For your reference, I wrote marriage, but the meaning is something else, I am bit shy. 😶 My point was, he didn’t knew about period but knew about se*x. May be this is the thing people learn without prior knowledge. 😅😅
@@tahmidrahmankhan1204 Marriage and sex is taught by parents and grandparents(todays generation is something else) but the concept of periods was hidden since women found it ashaming to show themselves bleed from their little one as it awakens an embarrasing insinct(you can say this happens by mood swings) But since periods only happen in women and sex can happen between both, that means the concept of periods was not taught to men since it was none of their business.
I used to buy them for my elder sister when I was 10 or 12 she was shy to buy them on her own because people used to stare at what she was buying and the shopkeeper wrapped those packets like they were some freaking bombs. I think Society needs to overcome the mindset of periods being dirty or anything in this regard. Even if India becomes a top economy, until and unless the people have a narrow mindset we won't be truly called a developed Nation.(for eg Gulf countries).
I also had periods at a very early age, i was not educated about it. My granny n my teachers taught me about it but mostly my grandpa helped me to understand what periods are
I think that there is nothing too be uncomfortable with that because every girl get it and boys should respect that make that girl feel comfortable my dad is a doctor and whenever I get that i don't feel any shame to tell and when he go and buy my things he never feel embarrassed when it comes to me i am so happy to get a father like that and dad i just wanna say i love you so much

Yes that's true......both boys and girls should have knowledge about all these atleast from high schools as in our times even we didn't knew about all these until some age.
The same is here in Bihar, most of the men don't even bother to do some research about periods. They don't want to know what we are suffering as a women. I feel like crying whenever I see a comment from a Male person about periods. They look like angel to me., 🥺

Can you believe my dad told me that even at 10th standard he didn't know difference between girl or boy..... He used to thought that any person with long hair will be a girl or any person with short hair will be boy😝
I think this is a very common thing. It is God's creation. As a brother, I like myself a lot when I can pass the hot water bag in front of my sister in unbearable pain, take care even a little.. My humble request If you see a girl in such a situation, do not laugh or make fun of her and reach out to her and help her as much as you can. This will show your good mindset..♥️
And on the other hand I'm happy and more comfortable sharing my period cramps to my father more than my mother and my cute younger brother always helps me to bring pads for me whenever I need it in an emergency. 💞

Even when they know, they just call it an excuse. Like, ever you tell them that you're mad, or upset about something, they act like- OH, ARE YOU ON PERIODS AGAIN? THAT'S WHY YOU'RE HEATED?

Till I was 5 I didn’t know what periods meant, when my older sister got her first period my mom educated us about periods, I got my period at an early age, it was torture for me take in that pain at an early age, I found out my sister and mother had to go through, love and support to everywoman out there ❤❤ you guys are truly strong beings ❤❤
When I got it was crying so much and my mom didn't even tell me what it is properly and how we should maintain dates. I don't have my first date and have irregular cycle. i didnt even know we have problems like breakdown
You know we have a chapter called adolescence in our 8th class which teaches us about periods not only girls even for boys it's compulsory to learn in my school as they should know too.
Yup, I studied about it. I got my first period in 5th grade but got so much more information about it when I studied it in the 8th grade, and now I have better knowledge about reproduction since I am in the 10th grade, and have studied about it. My boards are going on,and on 2nd March, I had my science board. I am happy, though it is compulsory to study this in 8th and 10th because after this,I am not taking science. 😊
I teach my younger brothers and sisters about periods so that My sister should not have to bear all the things that I faced and my brothers can also understand what periods are, now they are all under 15 years old and they know very well what periods are😌

With my parents, believe it or not, it was the other way around. My mom figured out periods only by herself with no one to educate her about it. She used cloths instead of pads even after marriage. And then my father suggested her to use pads. I was shocked!!
Nobody told me until I read it on my science text in 8th😂 bruh I asked my sis before she dint even say anything and said she don't know when I saw pads and asked she said mom uses it 😂😂
I am truly very lucky and blessed to have a life partner who is always there with me .. and specifically when I am in periods he does every possible thing to make me comfortable .. he bears all my mood swings and my cravings , heat bag , chocolates , spicy food , pillows etc etc .. that extra love, care and attention what we girls need in that situation. I mean what else can one ask for....
My mom taught me about periods when I first time got them at 12 years old in 5th grade, and she later told my brother also on the same day. Now I am in 10th at 17 years old and more comfortable to share about it with my brother and mom than my dad because he doesn't live here and comes once a month because of his job.
When I got my first period my mom had not given enough information about it I was scared like shit but my dad he normalised these things to me he explained me about it and maked me feels it's normal and nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of 🥺💜
My dad, lived in small town ... When I had my first period he is the one who spoke to me about the system of cycle and pads and educated me on that.... My mom was not so educated and she never used pads... So my dad stood in that place.... He bought for me pads every month without hesitation....
I am a girl! Also I didn't know about it before and after padman! I was almost 8-9 so, and didn't concentrate while seeing movie i thought it would something related to big aunties😅 after an yr when I got, it got to know and then I watched the movie again and then understood!
I'm so so lucky that my dad is so comforting. When I got my first period, my mom was not there she's put of town,, he just know what to do... Give me warm water bottle and play a nice movie for me.
Here is my brother...I was a little shy to tell him about my periods but he kept on asking me bta kya hua kyu drd h and then I told him . He literally told me do this do that for cramps . He asked me whether I want to eat chocolate or not. He asked swiggy works here or not... He is turning 27 this year and I am so glad to have such a caring elder brother

The Indian education system failed abysmally when it came to educating men about this basic thing about women. It still continues to fail in many places.
same here, my mom never told me anything about the women's menstrual cycle, when i got in a relationship, i saw my girlfriend sort of...🩸you know, and then i started freaking out until she told me that this thing is normal and happens to every woman once a month, i was genuinely shocked, also for the women reading, hats off to you, y'all are incredibly strong, i saw my girlfriend go through her periods and seen her in an insane amount of pain but yet she still didn't let that stop her, also, dear parent's, teach your kids about women's menstrual cycle, doesn't matter their gender, even though i don't go through periods, my girlfriend does and i need to be aware of such things so I'm always prepared. normalize periods, it's not something women are in control of and it's something no woman should feel ashamed of to speak up about to their parents, partner or friends. if you want to know how to help a woman going through her period read the next few lines, might help: 1) they might get grumpy due to the excruciating constant pain, so don't take it personal if they get mad at you. 2) leave them alone IF they want space, don't try to force them to be with you, if they say they want to stay alone, they mean it. 3) sex helps them (as far as i know) it somehow helps them with the pain, so sex is great apparently, BUT do not force them to have sex, im sure this method isn't ideal for every couple. 4) buy them their favorite food or something that would make them happy 5) spend as much time as you can with them, make them feel supported, important and loved. There might be many other things that I'm not aware of as i just found out about the menstrual cycle about 3 months ago, if there are women reading this, would you kindly comment down some more tips for me and the boys, thanks :) kind regards. *(PLEASE NOTE WOMEN START THEIR MENSTRUAL CYCLE AT DIFFERENT TIMES, SOMEONE MIGHT START AT THE AGE OF 9 OR SOME EVEN AT 15)*
Actually in my family my mother and big sis hide it from me and my father they never talk about it in personal when I saw one girl in our class having periods they all hide it even if we are supporting nature some boysmight be mad but not all are they should trust not all boys are bad and I respect you big brother as you told me more so I could help any stranger also ❤

Boys can't understand but Men's understand the pain and girls are only shy to tell men's about period, they don't talk with us friendly and we Men's are always open minded.
I m actually proud of myself that my husband was aware but he wasn’t aware how bad periods and its cramps can be.. I educated him that’s its very bad pain that is similar to getting labour pain .. abd now he treats his lady staff very respectfully if they ask leave due to not feeling well. And if his male staff complains that he is soft with girls in terms of giving leave he tells that don’t compare yourself with girls they hv other health issues which only women hv ..
are Bhai thik hai itni randi Rona kya krte ho tum log ...Sabke apne problem hai yaha pe
Period pains are not like labour pains ...comeon😊
Periods cramps are normal if they light for 3 days but intense period cramp is not normal so check her diet less or no junk food , water intake , proper sleep , ayurvedic drink to balance her hormones, her cycle clock , mental health which this things are disturb them period pain gets intense so check on that . Even in periods women are capable to do normal activity but rest is prefer for 3 days but if they can't do normal activity and requires constant pain with continuous bed rest then smthg is wrong with health and lifestyle and should be check to go periods smoothly and keep them active even in those days . Period pain is normal not a health issue and if it gets intense then it is a health issue and needs to be check bcoz instense labour like pain is not normal .
I would say, as you see changes that our new generation is doing. They are trying hard to break stereotypes against such things.
There is no way long when we could normalise it atleast our new generation. And I personally feel that its moral duty of every boy to understand things deeply and co-operate with them.
You all are strong 🔥
More power to each and every girl
Yes , now you can contribute by telling about periods in public, also no more power to girls but equal power to both the genders

However, I respect those girls who go through all these painful things!

our schools only organize camps for girls to educate about periods but why not boys, even if it's something about periods only girls r told that why????
Then after reaching home I told my sister about this incident and di explained me the reason.
in my school this camp was organised for boys also , few weeks ago
Donot push boys or men here, its just how we grow up.. how we taught by the society. If society needs change definately it happens.... @@geetupathania300 bro what is periods i also don't know this please tell me?
Didn’t knew about period, but knew about marriage. Wah. 🙄
Her father just didn't know about sanitary pads but it's obvious that he knew about periods

@@tahmidrahmankhan1204 Marriage and sex is taught by parents and grandparents(todays generation is something else) but the concept of periods was hidden since women found it ashaming to show themselves bleed from their little one as it awakens an embarrasing insinct(you can say this happens by mood swings)
But since periods only happen in women and sex can happen between both, that means the concept of periods was not taught to men since it was none of their business.

Men don't create taboo but women do. I am blessed that men of our generation are so empathetic and understanding.
The Indian education system failed abysmally when it came to educating men about this basic thing about women. It still continues to fail in many places.
I'm from Ambala...n shocked after listening about her Dad😔
same here, my mom never told me anything about the women's menstrual cycle, when i got in a relationship, i saw my girlfriend sort of...🩸you know, and then i started freaking out until she told me that this thing is normal and happens to every woman once a month, i was genuinely shocked, also for the women reading, hats off to you, y'all are incredibly strong, i saw my girlfriend go through her periods and seen her in an insane amount of pain but yet she still didn't let that stop her, also, dear parent's, teach your kids about women's menstrual cycle, doesn't matter their gender, even though i don't go through periods, my girlfriend does and i need to be aware of such things so I'm always prepared.
normalize periods, it's not something women are in control of and it's something no woman should feel ashamed of to speak up about to their parents, partner or friends.
if you want to know how to help a woman going through her period read the next few lines, might help:
1) they might get grumpy due to the excruciating constant pain, so don't take it personal if they get mad at you.
4) buy them their favorite food or something that would make them happy
5) spend as much time as you can with them, make them feel supported, important and loved.
There might be many other things that I'm not aware of as i just found out about the menstrual cycle about 3 months ago, if there are women reading this, would you kindly comment down some more tips for me and the boys, thanks :)
kind regards.
