This will be okay if you're doing a quick clean but as someone who professionally sharpens hair clippers and scissors it's always a good practice to take apart your top and bottom blade and pick out the hair from the back and then give it some oil when it's back together
I like the way do business! That's what I'm talking about take it apart and clean it well.
As a 4 year Barber who never went to school I do the same by Taking it apart, deep cleaning the inside and hitting it with clipper oil after.. 💯💯
(If you don’t have a liquid solution) Spray cool care (or whatever brand clipper spray u have) on a angle facing downward to the bottom blade in the hole (be generous with your clipper spray) and hold the clippers on a 45 degree angle so the spray gets right in there, then blast with a hairdryer into a bin or sink while clippers are running and watch all the shit come out
Yup 👍
Straight to the point 👌
Thx for sharing
They were still dirty 😂
I believe the be cleaning practice is to separate the clippers from the head then to sterilize. I’m not a barber, I’m just a door man. 😂
That would be the next step if this doesn’t work.
Removing the blades too frequently can strip the screws and you’d have to realign the blade wash time
It actually is. The method in this video is like removing hair 15-20% from clippers
Keep your day job, door man.
@@houseofshavesbarbershopthat’s true this is why I personally use the x power air blower to dust off my clippers & my station.
I used to use a compressor then moved to a location where there wasn’t one & I started using canned air but it’s an additional expense I wasn’t looking to incur
so I started looking at electronic air dusters
Bro the dirty lid goes back on the container?? Use seperate container
You can use pressure spray and get what’s in between out.
That’s one method that’s quick
I usually just spray the clipper spray in those tight holes and it cleans out all the hair
Sir this is true but ..can this be dangerous for clipper for the motor ???
Only if you don’t let the solution drain out, only the blades are being immersed.
Yea I heard that’s bad u can mess up the electrical ? Is this the legit way ? To clean ?
@@johndoe4293 They know what they're doing...also yes, I heard a lot of barbers doing the same yeh
Risk of fluid spreading in to the clipper causing electric shock and damage the clipper
Just unplug the clipper, use screw driver to remove the blades and clean
you;d let the fluid drain out before use, taking the blades off too frequently can strip the screws
Mine just connect and no instruction came with it and there no screw
Buy a bottle of canned air thats used to blow dust from computer keyboards for $8. Use it to clean then use your clippercide, coolcare, etc to disinfect them and keep it pushing.
Lol yup
Great tip !
Been doing it for years clippers are always clean and saves the battery from the solution dripping inside the clipper
@@owenrucker4933I destroyed two of my favorite Babyliss products cleaning them with too much cleaning solution. It’s a tragedy
Can you use if clipper isn't wireless?
Yes
You see you just hold the clippers on a downward angle and use the spray point blank into that hole, you can use a piece of newspaper to push all the hair out and 'floss' between the cutting blades, (if the newspaper is thin enough.)
Yup we do that to clean in our clippers in the morning.
The h-42 is good for deep cleaning every now and then.
You could also use a razor to clean in between the blades 💪
What is H42
I do the same with alcohol and works the same.
Does it ? Ion got liquid solution but don’t wanna mess my clippers up shi cost me 230$
Can barbicide be use as a alternative
No
if my clipper have a cable?
Can water be possible to clean
Can you use water?
No it will rust the blades
What if I dont have h42 could it work with just water
I need to know
no, don't use water
And what if you don’t have that ?
Turn the clipper on, Spray in between the blades with cool care while holding the clipper upside down
Sending this video to the state board of cosmetology 😢
How about handy air compressor
That could also do the job, this method would be for those that didn’t have an air compressor
What clippers are those ?
amzn.to/47spUm2
@@houseofshavesbarbershop can you resend the link it’s not working
Ok but there still hairs in my clippers so I keep going until no hairs
Do H2O works?
no
NO!!! WILL RUST YOUR CLIPPER AND BLADES
Lol
Get some waterproof blades or something, my clippers have never rusted and I clean them with water every time
How much is H42?
Around $10-$20 on Amazon
Not as much as H2O
@@houseofshavesbarbershop thanks
Isn’t easier to unscrew the blades and just take off the hair and spray the blades from the inside?
You could do it that way but you’d have to realign the blades each time and the threads of the screws will start to strip over time
I get new blades every 8 months anyway lmao and realigning the blade isn't a problem for me and it takes me 30 seconds and only take the blades out once a month so for me that's the best option@@houseofshavesbarbershop
That’s a Big no,no … as any liquid could ruin your machines. Better using the 5 in 1 can and some compressed air and taking the machine apart you learn your machine better while also cleaning it better.
Buy a can of compressed air. Blow the filth out. Never put your clipper or trimmer in a liquid.
There's still so much hair he already tried it I need didn't work at all
Lube is a liquid and so is cool care and yes there is specific liquids you can use like this one it may extend the life of your blade by a bit to not use this liquid but also no deep cleaning your clippers is disgusting when you are cutting different people per day
H42 = water
Just take them apart
I thought these were bad for your clippers as a guy that does both haircuts and dog haircuts they said that shit was bad for your clippers
I don’t think it’s bad for your clippers unless you don’t run the clipper for a while to let the oil drain out.
If the oil gets in the motor it could cause issues
Broo u kno how many barbers I have seen just spray it.... not only will it not jam but also wont give your client ringworm 🤦♂️
spraying the clippers is how most barber clean in between clients. Nothing wrong with that. This video shows how to do a deep clean.
T 24 works better
How much is it?
And where do I get it?
It’s was still a lot of hair in it😂
Pretty much impossible to remove all of the hair
Don't do this to your clipper... It comes with a tool to take the blade off and if you can't put the blade back on you shouldn't have a license... Don't electrocute yourself...
ok
This dude said " don't electrocute yourself " 😂🤣
Aw naw u can do this with water😂
if you want rusty blades!
@@houseofshavesbarbershop I got the waterproof blades 😂
@@houseofshavesbarbershoppretty sure all clippers use stainless steel grade of at least 304… more expensive clippers will use 316 with the addition of molybdenum…
Basically running the clipper for 5 seconds in water will not cause any rusting to take place providing it is dried out and lubricated afterwards
I hope bro is still taking this apart and disinfecting. I don't trust any barber that doesn't do that.
there has to be a better way without making a such a bug ass freaking mess
This method is for deep cleaning, you can use clipper spray and oil for regular cleaning
😂that’s the worst and lazy way to clean your clippers don’t be this guy, all the excess liquid rill run down to the motor over months of doing that “process” I’m not a barber and I use a jewelry biosonic cleaner
Ok 👌
Who cares bro he's a pro too
I'm a pro at hair n this guy is correct my andis outliners stopped working after a few uses cuz the battery shorted
I’ve used this method plenty of times. I let them rest upside down and never had issues with my batteries.
This would more be an effective clean as suppose to a deep clean
Use screwer???......
