Han Seo Jung True, but I don't think it's a bad thing. His style reminds me a little bit of G-Dragon's, which does a good job of mixing Western and Eastern style. So much hate on this page. I'm personally one of those K-poppers that prefer to listen to straight up K-pop, and only K-pop. But there's a reason I only listen to it, and that reason is the same reason I stay away from A-Pop. Did I like this cover? No, not exclusively. But even if I am not truly a fan of Chad future, his effort is not easy to overlook. Going directly to his videos and calling him talentless is not the answer. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. What one person may think is certainly not the same as another. Also, Just because someone says they don't like Chad, doesn't mean that their racist. They could simply not like him because of his style. Don't mistake talent and racism.

Fy Pink It's hard to translate from asian languages, since there's a great ridge between keeping the song's theme and translate it into actual lyrics that are singable in english... Although he may fail a bit here and there he deserves the best praises from all k, m and j pop fans, since this is probably the first real big step into showing the world the power of these singers, cause they are the best, even if they don't sing lyrics about swag and alcohol. Although of course you can't compare a "sort of homemade singer" with some folks who spent a lot of years practicing to become singers, so of course there are differences, but is there anyplace where differences don't exist?

Lyrics are getting better, the previous songs' lyrics made me wanna cringe but he's really getting better. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm no super fan. I just find this guy really interesting. I think it takes guts doing English covers of popular Kpop songs, considering how stingy kpop fans can be. His rapping has gotten better too so, good for you Chad.

I actually think this is really clever. I love how well put together it is. I love a bit of K-pop, and when someone makes the effort to do an English version, I think it must mean something to them, to take the time and effort to come up with lyrics to go along with the tune, and then to make a visual theme to go with it too. It must have taken a lot of thought to produce something like this. Good job, dude.

I know I'm reeeally late, but the fact that he's actually MAKING a remix of kpop in general is outstanding. He's so talented! this is my first video of him but it certainly won't be the last. Sure some of his lyrics sound/are just like the original, but you try and compose a song; it's so DIFFICULT. Especially when it's practically a translation. You say he's "killing" the song? then why don't you just go to your search history, delete this video, and forget it ever happened? Anyway, props to you man, it's amazing and so addicting. Sure, it need some work here and there, maybe some better words could have been used, but it's AMAZING nonetheless

Why is everyone hating on Chad :/ I just don't understand. He's got some mad talent, I mean even when he was first starting out with his covers you could tell he spent a lot of time producing just the songs, never mind the videos and the editing that goes into that! Even though there are some good covers out there that are just a person singing into their phone or a cheap microphone, it was nice to hear an actual produced and mixed cover. Even the comments back then were better! Everyone was always saying he had amazing talent and that he was one of the best cover artists in Kpop, but as soon as he decided to debut everyone started hating. Such a wishy-washy society we have.

Okay everyone... Please stop hating on Chad... I love everything about him. He has good music, confidence, inspiring, caring, and just an amazing person. No he is not rich! Where do you guys even get that from? So what if he has expensive equipment... what if he saved up or something? He's not technically trying to get into the Kpop buisness... If you see on his channel, he's just doing some covers.. And if you see on the mini documentary about him, he's not even in the Kpop business. Do you see him speaking Korean in his original songs? No... He's doing harmless covers and some collaborations. He says Kpop inspires him... That isn't meaning he's forcing himself into the Kpop business. Just let him live his dream... He's such an amazing and caring guy... He's an amazing rapper and he's just trying to live him dream. If he were to read all your guys's hate, he wouldn't care! I've known about Chad for a few days now.. I've been watching all his videos, his documentary, and what I've seen, he's an amazing person. He inspires me and a whole lot of other people. If you see his inspiration video on his channel, you will know what I'm talking about. I'm not bashing all those Chad haters out there.. I'm just speaking my opinion. It is a comment box so they are aloud to say their opinion. But I'm just saying... It's really getting on my nerves. They are saying very untrue things about him.. he's not full of himself.. he's not rich... he's just a normal guy who's trying to live his dream. And so what if he is trying to put himself in the Kpop business? What's so bad about it? He's not in a boy band. He's not signed with an entertainment. He will just be a unique foreign entertainer. I read this one comment that was so entirely true...She was talking about how all the Kpop stars get treated unfairly but still work hard, harder than Chad. Okay... first, I agree that Kpop idols get treated unfairly and work very hard. But why would you bring Chad into that? He's not a Kpop idol... Maybe he doesn't work AS hard but he works very hard and puts in a whole lot of effort into his music videos! There's really no need to work as hard as all the idols do... but that doesn't mean he doesn't put his blood and sweat into his work. He's an amazing guy... He's funny, unique, caring, and just upright talented. I'm glad he took care of Ravi and threw him a nice birthday party. If you don't consider everything I said, at least consider that. And to that one comment... Apparently someone tried talking to Chad but he ignored them? I laugh at that.... Why would Chad ignore them? He loves his fans... He probably really didn't see them... How could you tell if he had sunglasses on anyway? Maybe he was in a rush or tired? Have you ever thought of that? Anyway... I just wanted to say this because people were getting on my nerves. Thank you to the people who are sticking up for him... And I just want to tell the people who don't like him that... Chad wont care what you think of him. Yes, he will admit he's sexy. But does that really mean he's stuck up? No... It was a joke. And that's good that he thinks that because, well, it's true. And it shows he's not insecure... He's a confident guy and he knows what he's doing. Anyway... I love you Ravi! He was so amazing and I'm glad he got to collaborate with Chad! I'm personally one of those K-poppers that prefer to listen to straight up K-pop, and only K-pop. But there's a reason I only listen to it, and that reason is the same reason I stay away from A-Pop. Did I like this cover? No, not exclusively. But even if I am not truly a fan of Chad future, his effort is not easy to overlook. Going directly to his videos and calling him talentless is not the answer. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. What one person may think is certainly not the same as another. Also, Just because someone says they don't like Chad, doesn't mean that their racist. They could simply not like him because of his style. Don't mistake talent and racism.
Even if it's a bad cover it's advertisement to K-Pop, so it ends up being a good thing, even if it sucks... Although I like it, but I prefer the original like yourself...
Fy Pink It's hard to translate from asian languages, since there's a great ridge between keeping the song's theme and translate it into actual lyrics that are singable in english... Although he may fail a bit here and there he deserves the best praises from all k, m and j pop fans, since this is probably the first real big step into showing the world the power of these singers, cause they are the best, even if they don't sing lyrics about swag and alcohol.
Although of course you can't compare a "sort of homemade singer" with some folks who spent a lot of years practicing to become singers, so of course there are differences, but is there anyplace where differences don't exist?

2. Imitation is the highest form of respect any individual can give. He didn't claim this song to be his own, but credits it appropriately by stating the band who created it "EXO".
3. If you enjoy doing something, you want to be the best at it, and why not learn from the masters?
4. What's with all the raging warfare? Just because he isn't Korean doesn't mean he is bad/crap. If anything, try and think rationally without bias over your beloved EXO group. I love EXO, but credit is due to those who deserve it, and the effort Chad mad, is more than any other cover I've seen.
5. He loves Kpop more than any of you haters do. Why? Because he researched into the genre, and he made the effort to learn their style and follow in their footsteps. What about you guys? Lyrics are getting better, the previous songs' lyrics made me wanna cringe but he's really getting better. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm no super fan. I just find this guy really interesting. I think it takes guts doing English covers of popular Kpop songs, considering how stingy kpop fans can be. His rapping has gotten better too so, good for you Chad.

I actually think this is really clever. I love how well put together it is. I love a bit of K-pop, and when someone makes the effort to do an English version, I think it must mean something to them, to take the time and effort to come up with lyrics to go along with the tune, and then to make a visual theme to go with it too. It must have taken a lot of thought to produce something like this. Good job, dude.

I know I'm reeeally late, but the fact that he's actually MAKING a remix of kpop in general is outstanding. He's so talented! this is my first video of him but it certainly won't be the last.
Sure some of his lyrics sound/are just like the original, but you try and compose a song; it's so DIFFICULT. Especially when it's practically a translation.

I have to really applaud Chad and what he's doing. It certainly can't be easy to take a Song written in one language and then convert it into another, especially if you are trying to keep the general meaning of the song intact. Chad & these other talented artists, clearly appreciate K-pop are doing a great service by helping to spread it to an even wider audience.

Why is everyone hating on Chad :/ I just don't understand. He's got some mad talent, I mean even when he was first starting out with his covers you could tell he spent a lot of time producing just the songs, never mind the videos and the editing that goes into that! Even though there are some good covers out there that are just a person singing into their phone or a cheap microphone, it was nice to hear an actual produced and mixed cover. Even the comments back then were better! Everyone was always saying he had amazing talent and that he was one of the best cover artists in Kpop, but as soon as he decided to debut everyone started hating. Such a wishy-washy society we have.
