I get the pick talk. But Giddey and Jalen Smith I look to having good seasons. Improve upon what they have shown. Zach Lavine, Lonzo and Coby White will have something to prove and should play well barring injury. Same with PW and Ayo. All of these guys have something to prove. Plus the style and pace will be faster and should be fun and exciting.

Use it as motivation
Best take I've heard all offseason about this young team bobby. We are knee deep in potential and our top 7 guys all have serious doubters and something to prove. That top 10 pick is as good as gone. Because we are at minimum making the play in. & If these guys can gel and giddey is the PG I think he is we're a top 6 team. You heard it here first.
I mean we lost an elite defensive player who can shoot. Plus a very good offensive/clutch player. In return we get an elite playmaker, who has below average defense. Plus a good bench player who can shoot a bit, but doesn't defend that well for his position. You read that without the names and yeah we lost more than we gained.
Buzelis has looked good so far, tbh most of this drafts top 20 or so guys are looking better than we were told by the experts! It was supposed to be a historically bad top of the draft with some value in the late first to early second rounds
