Awesome little scope, I was worried that it would have to be way too close to the object to be useful but for watchmaking you can have it high enough where a screwdriver will still fit vertically between the lens and the work area, definitely enough room for soldering

Cool stuff. The DB9 had been around under different names. Tony Albus did a comparison review a while back. If your going to work on SMD or anything modern you need to be able to scope the gear. A single eye and send to monitor is the only way I could use it. 73
Check out north ridge fix he sells a scope and anti glare light so you can really see the boards vs cheaper that get whited out 😉great for micro soldering 😉
Agreed, he sells his stuff cheaper than we could get from Ali or Xiomi or whomever. Plus he used what he sells like his infrared scope and macro lense.
I received my AIOC board today and discovered the true reason for the microscope video. Holy Shit, that SMD chip is small. Now I know why I hear only silence regarding that AIOC. Oh well, that two less cheap beers out.
👍Thank you very much for such a detailed review, Awesome!! We'd love to feature this video on our social media platform with all of our friends. If it's good with you please reply to give us permission. thanks!!
Not this one @RandalRash. As far as stinkbugs go, Ape could be on the next block, Argentina or Ethiopia... This thing came from Africa with the first colonizers and spread from South America to the South of USA... It can destroy soy and grape crops...

It is pretty nice, I use it pretty often 👍
I bought one and have been using it for SMD soldering...VERY helpful.
I'm sure it's helpful for that 👍
That's exactly why I've just came here, ordered one to upgrade the ram in my og xbox
The older my eyes get, the more I need something like this. It would be very useful for soldering, component identification, inspecting pcb's, etc.
That's exactly why I wanted one 👍

Thanks Dennis 👍
Looks like I may have to make some space on the workbench, this could be real handy. Thanks Ape!
I am hoping to use it for something "real" soon.

That is great for old eyes. I used one when I tried to solder the chip on the AIOC. i wonder how small of objects you can see. 73
That part is tiny!
Hey Ape man. I think this might be better. See if you can review their DM602 Flex microscope. It’s on a telescopic boom arm!
Howdy MHP! I agree, I saw one and the boom arm looks fantastic 👍
@@TheSmokinApe I still can’t make up my mind between that and Amscope binocular Microscope.
You can make a nice cool iced tea with those bugs.😂
That microscope would be great for my old eyes. I need a magnifying glass with my glasses on.🤓👍
I'm gonna pass on the bug tea...
Does it only run on battery or can it be plugged in while using?
It needs power to operate
@@TheSmokinApe ….so it needs to be plugged in?
At 0:01, in the top right of the screen, what is the silver circle piece for? I don't see anything about it in the instructions manual.

Thanks for the info Kevin 👍

You didn't tell how to take a picture. I've messed around with all of tsettings settings I don't know what the buttons do.
Glad you liked the video 👍

Can you send the output of the Microscope to say Stream yard for the abilty to use that as part of a vide?
Yep
I bought one of these. On the first page, it notes that it is inedible. You don’t mention this! 😅
I’m sure you could get some of it down 🤣

I ordered this one off the internet 👍

@@TheSmokinApe That's the way I say it too
It's a dead bug. The best kind. Tossing aside the user manual is de rigueur. User manuals are for sissies.
Hey Karl. As an internet personality, the last thing I need is to be seen reading a manual...
