Girl, you had me cracking up when you said that you can not sit still. It reminded me of myself. When I had foot surgery and also knee surgery I wanted to move around... I cant imagine after a myomectomy. I wanted to say while you were talking "Just relax Vanessa" you will have time to do everything else. Glad that you feel better. You look happy and healthy.
First of all I was so so scared to go and remove my fibroid but following u all these while have built my confidence so much that I can just go and do it. I dont know how to thank u, may the gud Lord bless u so much for ur empowerment
I did my UFE two years ago in 2020 and even though it did relieve some of my fibroids symptoms. I no longer bleed as much, and my belly is not as big, the ufe didn't entirely reduced my big fibroids (12cm, 7cm, 6cm) 😞 so I have to pee a lot :( it's annoying they are so big they push my bladder. So I'm considering a myomectomy. Thank you for sharing your ufe and myomectomy experience.
Thank you so much for the update. I've been trying natural remedies and diets for years and I still can't seem to get rid of this fibroid. I'm really looking into getting the surgery, just to bring some ease back into my life. Curious what made you get the surgery?
You’re welcome! I looked into surgery to have a better chance of having children but I’m so thankful I did. I would’ve ended up losing my uterus from what the doctor found.
First off YES I agree you with @KellySwarn you look great 🙌🏾💛 but I have a question...? Why the open and not the laparoscopic myomectomy? I’m counting down the days 7 days before my procedure 🙈
Thank you love! My doctor had to do an open myomectomy as opposed to the laparoscopic bc I already had 2 failed fibroid surgeries. He didn’t want to waste any more time. Get in, get everything out and over with. Also the largest fibroid was in the very back of my uterus in a difficult spot, not ideal for laparascopic surgery.
@@veryvanessa ok I see! Yeah I rather to have open but my doc switched to laparoscopic. I want a one and done procedure lol & I don’t have my bag ready. What’s a must have?
Eye covers, comfy socks, a comfortable loose outfit to go home in, essential oils to help you relax like lavender, a small pillow to splint your incision area when you have to cough or sneeze, a blanket, toothbrush.
It takes at least 1 year for the uterus to heal. Anytime after that is ok but definitely check with your doctor. Some recommend sooner- it depends. I had a puff for a while but its gone away with time.
Iam in my 3 day after operation i did enema today my stomach feels better not bloating like b4 but when i laydown and turn sides there is kind of pain like movement in my womb or tummy i dont know any iam fine
U look very healthy and refreshed after surgery🤗🤗
Thank you hun!
Right, I don’t look that good on a regular day, lol.

When do you think it time to try conceive after the open myomectomy surgery? Do you have a little puff at the top of your incision?
It takes at least 1 year for the uterus to heal. Anytime after that is ok but definitely check with your doctor. Some recommend sooner- it depends. I had a puff for a while but its gone away with time.
You were able to stay in the hospital for two days?
Yes I had to
What made you decide to have the surgery??
This video is going up tomorrow!

I have the same issue and unfortunately it's normal. It gets better day by day tho
Are you still following an alkaline diet?
No, not at this time. I'm trying to transition back to alkaline. The last few months I fell off of my diet due to stress.
