Watched this video while laying in bed. I immediately got up and went out to car. Inserted key, pressed eject button for 10 seconds and the CD ejected. It’s been in there for seven years. Thanks!!!!!

2 years! 2 years I have been without a CD player with my A class Merc and clueless what to do with no car electric repair person near me. Do you know if one of the symptoms of a stuck Navigation DVD is an intermittent but constant whirring sound even when the car is off, doors closed, and the ignition key is out? I've been trying to find a fix to my battery draining problem on my 2007 c230 until I finally pulled out the #64 fuse. (before that I had to constantly disconnect my battery's negative post every-time I knew I was going 1+ hr away from the car)

I had a stuck CD cassette of 6 CD stuck in the changer of a 2005 SL500. I tried to push the
button on the changer, green light came on but no joy. Changer is behind the driver's seat.
I finally started to hit the side of the container behind the driver's seat, as well as the top
at times pushing the button. Finally some clicks and clucks, green light on, and the cassette came out.
After many tries of different CDs, etc. I still had occasions of stuck CD.
I then decided to take more aggressive measure, and used some WD-40 with long tube,
and sprayed inside the changer bottom, with cassette removed, as well as the cassette (with cds removed).
In the last 2 days the changer has worked well with all CD - purchased and burned.
I can select any CD from the main unit, and it will play it, as well as change CD after
the last music was played.

2007 c200 with the CD in the middle of the care main unit - 6 cd changer.
Cd changer is obviously stuck - making intermittent whirring noises and a beep with “device unavailable” popping on the screen. I can’t put another cd inside as there’s something blocking the cd inlet. I’m sure this is just the cd changer though.
I don’t mind the cd device never working again - I just want the beeping to stop as it happens even if the car is muted. I’d also ideally like the whirring noise to stop.
Any advice much appreciated!
Of note, this doesn’t work and “device unavailable” just pops up on the screen when I try it

Hi! I watched video and read all comments. Have an 06 CLK350 with 6-disc changer and the cassette is stuck. Tried banging and prying and only made worse. It makes a small sound but doesn’t come out at all. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I have 2 issues with my w211 used command unit(2003 E320 sedan) my volume goes to the highest volume by itself frequently and as of today my cd changer is no longer showing on my unit display but the cd changer is getting power... Any ideas???

Did someone of you guys have a problem with pushing back the Radio? I mean, I clicked the Eject button and the radio went forward as on video but when I want push it back by clicking again the Eject button it doesnt work and the radio stays in the same „laying” position :(
I have the 2010 mercedes benz c300 4matic if I'm right the button in between the shift lever and the box compartment it works like a shift control lever on a controler game. Pull enough up down side to side and to choose what you want push down

A new MB battery was installed in my 2005 CLK 320 convertible at the dealership (the previous MB battery from the same dealership failed 2 months after the 2-yr warranty expired!?!).
Unfortunately, the onscreen
console modes/buttons, including the radio and all the station presets, were no longer working and the clock was not reset to the current time. I immediately circled back to get this addressed. I assume the tech did a manual fix as the clock was reset and the radio was on but (is stuck) on one español station. Yet NONE of the console buttons are working for me???
Will a initialization help? If not, can you please help me?

I have a 2005 clk 320 and both cartridge and dash cds are stuck but it's been doing this for a few years but this last time I haven't been able to get them out . I just might disconnect the battery this time . I have been holding the eject buttons but not for 10 seconds this I will try

I just smack it with a hard object while holding the eject button. It works for the cartridge type players.

Mine is an older model the screen just shows “Please Wait” and doesn’t budge after.
I have a 2011 six disk changer and this video did not help lol but I did find the solution, which was ridiculously simple. You just have to push the control knob. (The one by the cup holders) 🤦♀️
What year and model is this one? Mine is very different.

Mine is 2018 …. How come this is working for everybody else but me it is currently mercury in retrograde.

Try resetting the car's radio system by disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it.
