- How To Logout Of Whatsapp Web.
Here is how to log out from Whatsapp web. For your information, using Whatsapp Web on PC has many advantages:
1. You can now see your chats on a bigger screen
2. You can type easier using computer keyboard
3. No need to download the app or any other software or extensions
4. Large computer storage makes you store your multimedia which is downloaded at better quality using a computer than a phone
5. While going about your work on a PC, it’s easier to move to your chats and communicate with friends and colleagues
In the other hand there are also disadvantages of using whatsapp Web
1. You need a strong internet connectivity between your phone and computer, which you don’t usually need when using just your phone
2.You can only view WhatsApp statuses but cannot change your account’s profile picture or cannot update new status
3. It is unsafe at time you are not present with your computer but connected from afar because someone may access your personal chats. (To avoid this you can log out while leaving your computer or remotely log out using your phone.) So make sure that you have logged out before leaving your Whatsapp web.
But still, using Whatsapp web is really cool and helping, so if you guys haven't tried using Whatsapp web in your PC for work, I suggest you to follow these steps on the video.

Hi Sambit. Of course not. If you have logged out from Whatsapp using your PC then your Whatsapp web is already disconnected.

Hi nagendranr19, ya you can actually log out your Whatsapp web from your phone. Go to the three dots on the top right and go to linked device, then you'll see the device and browser you use to log in to your Whatsapp web and tap log out

Hi, if you don’t log out then your WhatsApp won’t log out by itself. You should log it out first, you can also do that by your phone. Yes you still get the notifications on your laptop.

Oh ya, don't worry, they won't be able to log in to your account cause you've logged out from there. Keep login option only works if you want to keep Whatsapp web stand by without logging out by itself.

Hi ruksana. We've never experienced this. But if you did then make sure the Whatsapp you're trying to open on Whatsapp web is an official one. And also please try to delete or restart the browser.
